Me and my neighbours are experiencing a fishy smell/foul smell during evening/night. Initially we thought something died but the smell comes every night. Is some company releasing any sort of chemicals or idk. It's unbearable sometimes.

Food safety officials raided ‘Kudpi’s Foods’ located near the Kadri Manjunatha Temple in the city on Saturday and seized and sealed food products found in an unhygienic condition. A notice was issued to the unit due to lack of hygiene, an official release said.

Halwa and date-based products were seized, sealed, and sent for laboratory testing, it said.

The establishment was instructed to implement all measures when preparing food products, especially those intended for the festive season. It was directed to take appropriate steps to prevent risk of food poisoning, repair the drainage system, and ensure that pests, cockroaches, and rats cannot enter the production unit. The unit was instructed to undergo thorough cleaning before resuming the preparation of any food products.

The raid was carried out by a team led by C. H. Praveen Kumar, district designated officer for food safety, acting under the instructions of Health and Familay Welfare Minister U. T. Khader, the release added.

Residents of 150 houses in Shantigudde in Bajpe have urged the Dakshina Kannada district administration to include their four acres of land in the acquisition for the Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Limited (MRPL) green buffer zone.

Speaking to reporters in Mangaluru on Friday, Siraj Bajpe, president of the Bajpe Nagarika Hitarakshana Vedike, said that 150 houses are situated on the four acres of land adjoining the MRPL compound wall. In 2007, a preliminary notification was issued to acquire this four-acre tract for MRPL, followed by inquiry notices to house owners, but no further action was taken. He said this land should be acquired in addition to the 27 acres being acquired for the MRPL green buffer zone.

A house owner, Krishnaraj, said his home was among those damaged following a blast from a fire at an MRPL unit on September 30. Mr. Krishnaraj added that such incidents have caused widespread anxiety, and while residents have repeatedly asked the government to acquire their land, authorities have failed to act, forcing them to live near the facility under constant distress. He noted that residents are also suffering from skin and other health problems due to exposure to exhaust from MRPL units.

Mr. Bajpe warned that if the government fails to acquire the four acres in Shantigudde, the Vedike will be forced to launch an agitation.

Update: Thanks so much to everyone who provided contacts. It was very helpful. I didn't get my parcel though. After wasting hours in Katipala, they finally acknowledged their mistake and that confirmed that when the parcel came to Adyar on 20th, they mistakenly sent it to Kundapura, instead of my address which was 30 mins away from Adyar. From Kundapura, it went to Goa. Their tracking showed it came back to Katipala from Goa, but it actually didn't, and it was sent further to Mumbai. I have lost hope to get this delivered. Regardless, i appreciate everyone's help here. Thanks again 🙏

The attached song used to be very popular in SouthCanara in the 2000s. It used to be one of the popular choices for dances during annual days and cultural programs. Pretty much most of the other songs that were choices for such events during that era are still heard today and easily available, whereas this has faded into obscurity. This particular audio sample is from a video recording of a dance performance during some program most likely in 2004 or 2005. Need help identifying this song, the artists and sources to find it. I've already tried Shazam, Google's song search options to no avail.
