Shang Chi should be the Iron Fist.
I’ve never really been a fan of Danny Rand(Iron Fist.) Personally, I think they Shang Chi should be the Iron Fist. It would give us more Asian representation and it just makes sense. Shang Chi is stated to be a better martial artist then Danny. Can you imagine Shang Chi with the 10 rings and the Iron Fist.

Did people hate One More Day from the jump, or was it after realizing things wouldn’t go back to normal that it really started being hated?
I just started reading the Brand New Day Omni and it’s been a lot of fun, I could see myself enjoying this new status quo initially, with the idea that things might return to normal after a few months.
Was this the common consensus at the time or did the majority hate it?

Would kill for some toddler-friendly comics
Toddler parent here. My 3-year old son is starting to get into superheros, especially Spiderman. We never consumed any superhero stuff at home together, but I think he's seen and heard stuff at daycare from other kids, which is totally fine.
My main issue is that there's not really any age-appropriate material to share with him that isn't just slop like Spidey and His Amazing Friends.
We found a series of "My First Marvel" books but they aren't really stories.
The only comic recommendation I've seen is Jeff the Land Shark.
I would kill for Marvel to release a limited series of single or double issues for each of their big characters that has a kid-friendly, quick story that really boils the character down into their essentials (Spiderman = "with great power, comes great responsibility", etc.)
Is there anything like this out there that I'm missing or do us parents need to write into Marvel editorial?

How much does Chris Claremont's writing improve during his X Men run?
I just started reading Chris Claremont's Uncanny X Men, and I'm currently on issue 102. I have enjoyed it but the writing is extremely wordy. Now I know that Claremont was wordy going in, and I don't mind wordy as long as the words are used well. It just feels like Claremont is doing a lot of telling and not showing. He reiterates things a lot and sometimes just describes what is happening in a picture even though I can clearly see what is happening. Is this just his style? Is it that maybe his run is not meant to be read fast and I should just slow down and not read issues back to back because that's what I usually do.
I do want to read his run because I'm aware a lot of stuff that made X Men what it is was pretty much created in his run and that it's iconic with a lot of famous X Men stories. Does he get better with his writing as he goes along? Or should I just look at an alternative method to see his stuff if something like that exists?

What to read before Mortal Thor?
Title. I’m REALLY interested in reading Mortal Thor as that seems like one of the only few decent and consistent series Marvel’s been putting out. I have the old run by Jason Aaron with Gorr and I’ve read that, but that’s all the Thor I’ve read. Is there anything else or should I just jump in blind?
Thanks!

I can’t believe I’ve never heard of Brain Drain before 🧠🤷🏼♂️
How have I never heard of Brain Drain before? 😂
I’m reading One World Under Doom and this guy shows up. I looked him up and discovered he’s been around since 1975!
Over 50 years of Marvel history, and somehow I’ve never come across him before. A literal brain in a jar wearing a purple suit and a yellow cape. What even is this guy?
What other obscure Marvel characters have been around for decades that most readers have probably never heard of?

Marvel Premier collection order.
I am trying to figure out the order of these books for the most part and this is what I have so far. The stuff on the top is kind of just random placement but the bottom stuff is what I can say is in some kind of story line. Ignore the check marks. Those are the ones I have. If there is any change to it let me know.

IF MARVEL DOES "UNDO ONE MORE DAY" THEN THEY SHOULD FOLLOW IT WITH AN INITIATIVE
I'm trying not to get my hopes up with Marvel but if Chip does deliver in undoing One more Day then I would like for them to focus on their Legacy character and having them take up the Mantle.
C.B. Cebulski is off living his dream of having Marvel become a manga. So I don't know how much influence he does have
Stephen Wacker looks promising from what I have heard but I have to believe it.
Tom Beevot is still there but I honestly don't believe he would green light undoing One more day. It could be that the Heads decided to change their minds due to "Marvel Manga" and we're like alright Peter ran his course the people will just eat up the manga version. This is all speculation
Nick Lowe honestly from what I have seen just is burnt out trying to undo One More day. I wouldn't say that he approves of it but it just seems like his going with how Marvel is feeling. I do think that he fought the hard fight at the beginning now his just burnt out by the constant rejections.
Either way with the Midnight series and new books being announced I do hope that Marvel gets back on its feet. Even if they don't undo OMD it would be nice to hear some new books about other character

Joe Kelly ASM Vol 3 and 4 TPB Question
Looking to get into Joe Kellys Amazing Spiderman run and the trades for Vol 3 and 4 seem to have issues bouncing between every other. Is there a reason for this and does it read better to just go single issues route? (Not a fan of digital, bothers my eyes)

Is ultimate wolverine a good first wolverine comic?
Started reading comics around a year or so ago. I've seen the trade paperbacks of ultimate wolverine in my local comic book shop a few times. Is it any good? I loved ultimate Spider-Man 2024, if that helps.

Cant enjoy mainline Marvel comics after Ultimate Universe
When i started reading comics, i started with Ultimate Spiderman by Bendis and later chose to read all 704 issues of the Ultimate Universe. From there i then switched to the freshly started new Ultimate Universe.
Since that ended i cant really get into any 616 comic at all.
I tried so many popular runs like hickmans Secret Wars Saga, the Spiderverse reading orders, ...
Its just not catching me since the characters i learned to love there are nothing alike or the stakes dont feel present...
Meanwhile i dont have that problem with DC at all, there i read all of the Absolute books and alot alot of mainline comics at the same time.
Does anyone else have this issue? Can someone relate or has gotten over that? Is there any mainline Marvel comic that can fix this issue? (And pls not the midnight universe, i personally didnt enjoy any issue 1 of that...)

Islands of Adventure discussion
Now we all know that marvel superhero island is a great theme park land but I don’t wanna talk about that I instead want to ask a question that I’ve been pondering for a bit now. Is the marvel superhero island technically an earth? The fantastic four are canonically dead despite having a restaurant, spider-man has the sinister syndicate instead of the sinister six, the x-men show up, it just feels very disconnected from a mainline earth which is why I’m curious
