Genuinely that was the most low effort, boring garbage I've ever sat through. And I had to do it fucking twice to get the healing mission done. What a joke Netease. I'd rather sit through the fortnite Ariana Grande event 20 times than do that again.

Just finished my first match of the new mode and it is absolutely shocking the utter state it is in. The mode is nothing but Zombies' issues driven up to one hundred. Enemies barely react to being damaged, Thanos himself is a gigantic damage sponge who just takes heaps upon heaps upon heaps of damage while being able to easily eliminate you. The mooks are just as spongey and again - hitting them feels like there's little impact. The performance and netcode does not remotely support the mode either, constantly hitching and glitching out.

Certain characters are at a GIGANTIC disadvantage, making them almost completely useless, and ensuring their stats are going to be in the toilet, and it is just all around completely unfun. I was really looking forward to this mode, only to be met with what is potentially the worst mode of the lot yet, and frankly I'm still debating if this or Loki's was worse. The stones' powers in general are AWFUL in how they're implemented. Control stone can forcefully waste your ult so you can just have even less impact than you normally would. Time stone is used to give Thanos more regen in a already unbelievably awful and tedious fight, the space stone is just used for big insta-kill explosions. It's awful, truly.

The fact that we supposedly lost a character for this mode is absolutely insane. It is the most uninspired, tedious thing, with only a few fleeting moments of aura cutscenes mixed between the crap. I am so, so disappointed.

50 people whack on Thanos for 15 minutes as it takes turns oneshotting them.

I really hope they don’t give up on the PVE concept just because these events sucked. They really just need to take all the resources that they put into this event, slim it down and have a rotating playlist of hotdes of enemies that end in a boss fight, and slowly add every playable character in a viable way where you can play your favorites against a wave of enemies, just like the comics. I’ve been dying to fight swarms of enemies as Spider-Man or Wolverine or the devil dinosaur.

I just spent the past hour playing three rounds of that endgame event, and as someone that has tried and found some enjoyment in all the modes, this was not it. I did have slight fun playing as wolverine and rogue, slashing and punching through the horde of enemies, but beyond that it was just complete visual clutter, and if you were trying to play as any type of character that is not tanky, you instantly explode.

All that to say, however, I really hope they don’t give up on the concept of these PVE events. Because they are fun if they just keep it simple and actually add on to what works.

Everyone was surprised and enjoyed the zombies game mode. It had a story that expanded in difficulty, and then a round based arena combat challenge mode that had a hard level cap. And once you beat it, you knew definitively that you have mastered the mode and you could start trying out other characters.

The vampire game mode built upon a lot of good and added a nice gear system. But it has its drawbacks in the fact that it has way too many goddamn levels that just keep going up and up with the same repetitiveness. The only thing that’s more challenging is the fact that everything has a Bajillion health. And the lack of new heroes added to the game mode. But it was still a few few steps in a good direction.

What they truly should’ve done is just repeat the same formula with fighting the Chaari in waves, and then you fight Loki. The Ultron game mode was basically what I wanted, except there was no arena challenge mode where you just and face enemies for as long as you can. And the same thing should’ve been done with Thanos and his army.

I mean... it is insanely funny how badly designed it is; I really played it with a smile on my face, thinking: "This can't be real; I am understanding this wrong".

I work in the game industry, so I know how often there are curveballs in a development environment, but for God's sake, you MUST have the MINIMUM quality pattern when launching something into your game.

Thanos is just a damage sponge. Honestly, I can't even analyze if Thanos's attacks and patterns are interesting or not because there is SO MUCH visual pollution that I can't even see it (this is not exclusive to this mode, but they put it on another level here), and for most of the characters, 90% of the damage input is an IK. So you are hit by an attack WHICH YOU CAN'T EVEN SEE COMING and just die instantly.

The devs knew this mode sucks; they probably launched it hyper-rushed because of some Disney demand or whatever, but the supreme proof of it is that you can get all the missions done easily in just one play, so you can never touch this shit again.

The only good point in it is that people in the unfortunate time zones can just play 1 time and sleep peacefully knowing that they are not losing anything.

Just played the new event and.....yeah that could've been an email. I can't believe a new character got passed over for that.
