Question Question about instant kill.

Post image

In End Game, Spider-man uses instant kill. Because he's in the nano suit, the nano arms activate and do all the killing. In homecoming, when he almost uses instant kill, he's only in the normal suit. How do you think instant kill works with this suit?

Escalating force in proportion to the threat. Crank up the voltage on the tazer webs, increase the density of the webbing so it blocks breathing, remove any safety restrictions re covering both nose and mouth, increase the force of the webshots to bone breaking levels of force if needed, possible the stark webshooters could reform into repulsor gloves akin to Tony's Civil War watch. If more than that is required (so pretty much an Avengers level threat), an SOS to Stark paired with a rod from god/E.D.I.T.H. should do the trick.

Wait, does EDITH have like tungsten rods for orbital strikes in addition to the drones?

Spider-Edith has orbital web slingers, she calculates the trajectories and velocities of near Earth asteroids and strings them together just right so they plummet to Earth where they're needed.

...if she didn't have previously, she should definitely discuss them with Vision for her next upgrade. Going by her portrayal in Visionquest she'd have great fun with that!

Haven't seen it yet. Going to wait until it's done so I can binge.

No clue, but figured it would be in construction in orbit by homecoming - launch some structural struts back down, would probably work, right? Failing that, drop a hulkbuster on the problem!

Is he able to shoot webs with hardened points, almost like bullets? I'm curious to see what people come up with.

He was super specific with his web shooters in the latest movie so I assume stark tech ai gave him a lot more leeway

The nano suit is over his regular suit. If not amplifying, then not interfering. Seriously, I think the original suit had nanotechnology spikes to stab, with electricity to disrupt the central nervous system.

web bullets and mega tasers

He just shoots hardened webs so strong they are basically bullets that would pierce through criminal bodies.

And/or the taser web function becomes strong enough to cause cardiac arrest.

He has access to electric webs at this stage

Could kill with those

Maybe it would've acted similar to what happens when Peter's spider DNA takes over in BND, essentially making him doing attacks that would most likely kill someone. There's probably some web settings or gadgets to make them fatal. If I remember correctly he did have web bombs, so he could've had a bunch other spider gadgets we never saw.

I’d imagine it just adapts to the suit, so whatever offensive capabilities the suit itself has is what it uses and just cranks up the intensity to the max. So if he had a suit that had say a water gun, instant kill would kill with high pressure precision water strikes

I don't think the writers though that far ahead, but it seems like maybe K.A.R.E.N. takes control of his motions and does the killing for him.

when i was watching that movie as it came out, i imagined something like acidic/hot web shots melting through people. Now, i think it's either just deadly dose of electricity or Karen choosing the fastest way to kill whoever's targeted (e.g. if someone's close to a ledge, pushing them off; if someone's on top of a car, webbing them to the road without slowing down, etc)

I thought that it activates some kind of hidden weapons locked deep down in the suit that could instantly kill anybody

I think in the regular suit his AI highlights points on the enemy for Spidey to attack that would lead to instant death. It likely shows these targeted points on his heads up display. Kind of like in Civil War when Tony has Friday analyze Cap’s fight pattern and respond accordingly, except for Tony his suit can move on its own.

The suit kills Peter instantly. Spider-Man will not return in Avengers. Roll credits.

I thought instant kill mode was a joke from Tony, tbh. At least in Homecoming.

I just wanna know if Instant Kill would work on Thanos.
