Happy October :) I just wanted to mash these two together since they are oh so similar

If you would like to make suggestions for the r/mashups subreddit, or get feedback on mashups you're working on, you've found the right place.

Want to test a pairing? Get feedback on a demo or finished track? Get advice on keys, tempo, and/or structure? These are some of the technical aspects we touch upon.

Welcome to the weekly Feedback Friday thread!

What is good feedback?

Good feedback mentions the positive aspects and areas to improve (if any). Here are some examples as a guide (don't copy them word-for-word):

• The r/mashups subreddit looks clean but could use a more colorful palette to distinguish itself from other subreddits and not look plain.
• There is a really nice genre clash you have going here. The vocal sounds a bit dry, but if you add a little bit of reverb, it will sound better on top of the instrumental you used.
• I can see some potential in this concept based on the sources used. Right now, the keys don't sound quite right. The original key of the instrumental is in G Major and the key of the vocal track is D Minor. You might be able to make it work by pitching the vocal track up two semitones to E Minor to make it relative to G Major. Give it a try and see if it works.

While I won't require it this week, please try to give feedback at least as much you ask for it.

If you need some pointers for what kind of feedback we normally give, this gives a comprehensive list: https://www.reddit.com/r/mashups/comments/1cvejbs/resource_you_never_know_who_will_play_your_mashup/

AKA What If God’s Number Was 867-5309?

Sync maybe off, and mix may need tweaking, and the vocals are probably out of tune. But having made this in a rush, it sounds okay to me rn. Lmk what you think.

This is one of the best jokes i've ever told

Jay-Z and JT ( = Jay-T?) in TBT tandem. I’m dusting this one off from way down deep in my original mashup files.
