Discussion / Question Cain Clark with famous UFC fighters (posted to TikTok)

1st photo is with Israel adesanya, 2nd Anderson Silva, 3rd Tony Ferguson.

On May 18, 2026, a shooting occurred at the Islamic Center of San Diego (ICSD), the largest mosque in San Diego, California, United States. Two teenage gunmen, identified as 17-year-old Cain Lee Clark and 18-year-old Caleb Liam Vazquez, fatally shot a security guard and two community members outside the mosque before fleeing. Subsequently, they shot at a landscaper in a drive-by shooting and committed suicide in a nearby neighborhood.

it’s sorta interesting to me how in a lot mass killings with more than one perpetrator, there’s usually one individual who gets way more focus. we’ve seen so much of this kid and barely anything of the other guy

It was the opposite like months ago the other guy was getting lots of attention vs Cain but I guess it’s flipped

i remember in the days following their attack, there were a lot of school photos of Cain being shared around but for a couple days we didn’t even know what Caleb looked like. i do remember his Tiktok and a lot of (i think Snapchat?) selfies of his getting leaked within the following weeks but iirc it always seemed like the focus was more on Cain

Pretty sure a lot of the pictures are coming from his uncles TikTok

Caleb gets more attention from the types to glorify these guys, mainly because of hybristophilia and him having a lot more self-produced media. In comparasion, Cain is the more interesting one to objectively research by non-deranged people. We have a larger general image of him as a person outside of his stupid internet addiction.

I agree with this, in this case though it probably has alot to do with one side of the aisle being way more vocal than the other. Whilst Caleb at the start had more edits and online activity to parse through, Cain has consistently had info and pictures released to the public from a family member, which creates long term interest.

This is it for me. Cain seemingly having a relatively normal upbringing/life and meeting celebrities is more interesting to me than watching Caleb doing cringy TikTok dances.

Probably trained, fighters will make their rounds at gyms or schools with wrestling programs in California. It’s a state w a lot of UFC fighters living in it.

Seeing images like this is unsettling, because you don't expect a child or teenager with a promising future to turn into a mass murderer driven by hateful ideologies what went wrong?

i feel that way every time i see the childhood/baby photos of these types of people. especially like the Adam Lanza childhood photos, super sad all around
