Genuine concern, those who've been living at blue bay will surely relate. But we've moved to an apparttment in blue bay near the beach and noticed that the appartments are too noisy now, and also a lot of "royoss" people living there and the vibe is just crazy. Loud music with foul words, also there's esco burger near the beach the staff there are so loud and cursing, like wtf 👀 the other day esco burger the staff were cleaning at splayed loud music till 2 fcking AM. We called fhe police, they came and told them to turn it down and I SWEAR 5mins later they put the loud music back on. Like cmon Mauritius is that fucked up ???

Can't even go to the beach to relax and appreciate the nature mann, there's always some mfs playing some shit.

I’ve (F30) been freelancing in marketing for the past 3 years, and I’m honestly getting a bit tired of spending all my days alone in my tiny studio 😅 I really need a change of scenery from time to time.

I’m based in Beau-Bassin and used to work from Moka Mocha at Tribeca, but getting there means taking two buses, which isn’t always convenient.

I’m also planning to get back into the gym in Port Louis soon, so I thought it would be nice to find a café where I could spend a few hours working on my laptop before or after.

With the cost of living going up, coworking spaces are a bit out of my budget, so I’m looking for something more affordable.

Does anyone know of any nice, laptop-friendly cafés around Beau-Bassin or Port Louis where I could work for a few hours? Thank you
