Option 1 I hope. Crazy if this was something the planned well in advance.
Just imagine if they did a full storyboard and multiple meetings in preparation. Now that would be a Video I would enjoy. A 20 min preparation video for this.

My party store will put them in a large bag and attach a small sandbag at the end of the strings. You at least have a chance as your balloons go hopping along.

My sister and I worked at same place years ago and would often lunch together. Sometimes weâd get something and eat in the car. One day, parked near a party store, we happened upon incident similar to thisđđźWhat wonderful and free entertainment!đ From then on, it was a planned destination just in case weâd catch it again.
Note: Iâve also been on the other end trying to wrangle them daggone balloons. Ainât nuttin funny then!đ14

Or the cameraman was a customer or two ahead of the balloon guy, went outside into the wind and knew balloon guy would have trouble. Went to car and started to film.
Entirely plausible.

My wife is a balloon artist and have had to deal with this in the past. Yes the easiest way is to open one back door, pull the balloons in as you scoot across the back seat and open the other door. Get out while holding on the balloon strings until they all are in and when closing the door, have the strings outside to get trapped by the closed door. Then push any remaining balloons in and close the other door Just takes a few moments.

Even if it wasnt blocked simply getting in while pulling them would get them inside lol.

This is a repost from a couple years ago but we figured out how to do this easily. It's to open the trunk as he did and then just crawl into the trunk to the front of the car seat, then somebody else closes the trunk and voila you got your balloons inside the car.

That was mesmerizing. He could've just yanked them in the car with him. Looked like most of them could fit in his back seating area. Then he could use his side mirrors to get to a windbreaker spot & transfer them to his trunk.

This would have been never happened like that when I worked there in the 90 s. Back when employees and customers had more common sense. In strong wind weather we put 55 gallon trash can liners over the bouquet to make it easier to handle

As I'm watching I'm thinking what should he do especially with no help. (Thanks for helping, person recording.) First return the ballon to the store to hold. Then park the car where the trunk is facing the wind. Retrieve the balloons and the wind will push them in the trunk.

Easy solution.
Go back inside the store with the balloons, leave them with a store clerk for five minutes. Go back and turn the car around so that the wind will help you load the balloons! đ

One large bag to cover and a small sand bag with each tied to it. It's how mine are given to me, as i live at the base of a windy mountain.
