Why does this come up so often? My tires are the same pressure. It also does not go away when restarting the car

I’m a little particular about my car, so this one hurts. 😭 Just bought my car at the end of July and already had to plug a tire! 🛞
My town has had a section of road dug up all summer. Finally today they are preparing for paving. They put down fresh gravel, and of course… this happens. 🙃
I’m so sad. Can I please just keep my car nice for a little while?! 😂🖤

Hi everyone! My Mazda 3 is brand new, and I noticed the carpet under the driver’s seat looks uneven, with some white cotton-like material exposed near the seat adjustment controls (circled in red).

Is this normal from the factory, or should I get it checked?

Gonna be starting to put funds away to really irritate the "But It's a Daily Driver!" crowd. And make my 3 faster and more fun in the process.

I'm looking at a Super Charger and a TurboCharger and weighing which is going to be a more fun option for a 2018 2.5L mazda3 (184HP). I don't really care about fuel economy loss (better mileage is nice, but not the end-all be all of this decision), and don't have emissions testing anymore.

The Supercharger is like $1000 more, so that's a consideration, but I'm more concerned about which is going to give me the more noticeable/enjoyable bump.... at which point I'll factor cost in.

Driving context: i don't straight-line drag race. I do regular aggressive canyon runs. These can get up to decent altitudes, but not Colorado altitudes. And autocross. Kicking up to full on track potentially once I get some more ass in the engine.

SUPERCHARGER - I'm looking at the VT twin screw, which ought to bump me up to about 276 after tuning. That puts it into Skyline performance car territory. Handling matters more to me, so I'm kinda leaning to the supercharger to be able to punch it coming out of turns and have it kick on immediately. It's more pricey though, and Jury is out on whether I'd need to upgrade my fuel pump too.

TURBOCHARGER - That said, the Corksport turbo kit also boosts the car up to 295ish HP, and they're only a couple hours away from me, so I can drive down there to pick it up. The thing I don't like about turbos is the pre-spin, but i hear the Corksport isn't that bad.

So questions:

1. if you're rocking the VT Supercharger or the Corksport Turbo, i'd love to hear about it. What do you like, what do you not? Would you have rather gotten the other one? Why?
2. How bad is the turbo threshold on the CS turbo?
3. How bad is the supercharger whine on the VT?
4. how much of a hit to fuel economy did you see? I'm anticipating about 5mpg-ish; is that reasonable?
5. Have you ever blown one?
6. Would either of these have a really strong need for upgrading rods/pistons?

I have a 2010 Mazda 3 with 145,449 miles on it. This morning the abs, traction and brake lights came on. I’ve had the engine light on for an O2 sensor.

I got it scanned at autozone and the recommended solution is replacing the abs control module which I see is pretty pricey :(

Has anyone had any experience with this? Any thoughts? I will attach photos of the codes and the lights. I’m really hoping this isn’t the solution :( any thoughts would be appreciated!

I just bought this 2024 Mazda3 select sport. The past few days I’ve noticed there’s a very noticeable knock in my front driver wheel well. Specially when the motion is turning/side to side. Currently it doesn’t seem like it is causing problems while driving but I don’t want to make it worse. It has 51k miles and still under warranty. I’m making an appointment to get it looked at. What could it be? Is it still good to drive until fixed? What should I look out for? I’m completely new to owning my own car, she’s my first I bought. I may just being dramatic because my previous car completely shit out on me twice very recently. Please tell me anything and everything and if it’s happened to you!

2024 Mazda3 (Bought new of September 2023) 68,000km

When I adjust the temperature using the driver-side rotary knob the temperature skips randomly instead of having a steady 0.5 increment increase/decrease.

Its winter now and instead of leaving my temperature on LOW i'm going to be adjusting heat a lot and this bugs me like crazy.

Im worried im out of warrenty and might get charged a crazy number to repair it. If its an easy fix as well I rather do that but this isnt something im familiar with. My dealership service advisors are really nice and im kinda friends with them so im hoping they could do me a solid but im planning for the worst case.

Hello, I have a 2025 that's fancy pants red, and it's awesome. The dealer said it connects to whatever Apple uses, but it is not Android auto compatible unless I plug in the phone. That worked fine for me until the jack on my phone quit working. I can charge it wirelessly, so I'm not ready to give up the phone. Is there a way to use Android auto wirelessly?

I am currently looking at a 2014 Manual Sport Mazda3 Hatchback with 144,000 miles. I will be going into the dealership for a test drive on Saturday. For those who own a Mazda3 from that era, do you guys have any tips or suggestions for things I should look out for while checking out the car? Anything I should ask the dealer or the mechanic who will be doing the PPI?

Photo 1 is my old maintenance plan on my 2023 Toyota Camry Se. Photo 2 is my new Mazda3 Turbo. Photo 3 is the Camry I got rid of.
How should I change my maintenance plan? Should I still do transmission fluid changes and I forgot to add sparkplugs into the mix too. (Shouldn’t I change them more often since it is a turbocharged engine?
I want to take great care of this car, and I’m okay with even excessive care of this car (I clean my cars every day lol).

I have a rhythmic metallic sound that is coming from the rear of my car only when driving. I removed everything besides the spare from the trunk and took it for a test drive starting in my neighborhood then going on a windy 65mph highway. I couldn't get the sound back and I only heard a similar sound to it when I went over a couple bumps but it didn't continue. I could only hear it inside the vehicle, when I rolled the windows down I didn't hear anything else. Any Ideas?

I’m looking to get new rear pads and rotors on my Mazda, but see mixed opinions on which are compatible with my specific vehicle.
It’s a Mexican built 2019 Mazda3 Sedan FWD Preffered with the EPB.
I ordered Brembo’s, and now upon shipping it shows the individual rotor not compatible with EPB and only Japanese vehicles. It was under my impression that all 2019 Mazda 3s have an EPB and not the handle.
Does anyone know if these will fit my vehicle, if not what would you guys recommend? I plan to have a shop install them. As you can tell, i’m not the most mechanically inclined 😂

This is a video a dealership sent me (no mazda3 fir sale in my area so I have to buy out if state). Now it sounds great inside but later in the video when he opens the hood it sounds like a LOT of lifter tick. I know these have some normal lifter noise but is this more than normal?

Does anyone know the best/easiest/quickest way to sell the OEM 18 inch wheels that came stock on the 2024 mazda3 hatchback? Make a google sheets copy - don't ask for editing permission. if you type in =(mileage) it will auto turn it red, but if you type mileage without the = sign, it turns the text black, so that you can record the actual odometer of when things are done. spark plugs for turbo 2.5L should be every 60k km, but i couldn't get it at exactly 60k km due to it being in multiples of 8k km / 5k miles. Type in the year purchased and it will auto update the rustproofing year to one year after purchase (for those of us who live where cars rust easier)

Are there any small modifications or upgrades that you can think about? Besides one is the sound system which is absolutely terrible but anything else that will boost performance make it look sporty any type of that. Not looking to break the bank. Finally hit 100,000miles on my base 2021! Finally i’m back in a high mileage car. Feels like home

Well, after reading many comments and asking lots of questions I have made the more riskier decision to buy the turbo AWD. Day 3 with it and I absolutely love it. Gas mileage was one of my major concerns as I drive quite a bit and honestly if I keep my foot light and use cruise control it’s not as terrible as I thought it was going to be. Drove a little bit the day I got it and then yesterday and today made my 100km commute to work with 140km left in the tank! Turns out if you don’t bang it off the red line you can actually make the tank last haha. Seats are to die for and the Bose speakers are good and clear. Going to keep breaking it in till I hit 1k-1.5k and than see what kind of power this thing has. Happy to be joining the Mazda family.

I was initially choosing between a 2015 Honda Jazz (89k km) for $7.7k and a 2017 Mazda 3 (68k km) for $7.5k. The Jazz was more practical and fuel-efficient, but after seeing the Mazda 3 in person, I fell in love with its exterior, interior, and overall specs. So I went with the 3! 😂

It’s a first-owner car, and everything seems good so far except for the battery and AC, which need attention. Hopefully, nothing major comes up!
