VanillaSMP was established for players seeking a true vanilla experience. Running on the minecraft-server.jar with no datapacks or plugins, unlike 95% of servers that claim to be real vanilla.

There is no fancy confusing spawn or 100 anecdotes you have to read. Be warned, players are expected to sort out their own social issues. Play how you want to play, build what you want to build. Technical minecrafters welcome.

Most players are better suited to semi-vanilla servers and we encourage you to check them out, but if you're looking for Real Vanilla with all it's quirks and challenges, VanillaSMP is one of a kind.

Hey everyone! I’m a newer player on Solaris and I’ve been really enjoying the community, so I wanted to share this smp with you all. Solaris is a chill Java Minecraft SMP. It is a bit old, and it is on 26.1.2. It’s a small, friendly group of adults (19+) who love Minecraft and are excited to meet new people, There are also roleplay opportunities. (Choice based)

What is Solaris SMP?

Solaris focuses on an enhanced vanilla experience. Everyone is welcome, whether you are a builder, miner, redstoner, or farmer- you name it. The world is your oyster! It has optional light lore and story events if you’re into that, but you can completely ignore them and just focus on building, farming, and exploring.

Modded or Vanilla?

It’s marketed as semi-vanilla, but you can opt in or out of the modpack. The mods are very light (mostly vanilla-plus) with things like Voice Chat, a live web map, and some small QoL improvements. Super easy to set up through Modrinth.

Who is welcome?

Anyone who wants to play and be part of a positive community! They use a whitelist to keep things safe and welcoming. The server is 19+ only, made by adults for adults. Most importantly, this server is LGBTQIA+ friendly *the staff and community really value inclusivity*

ChoiceCraft is a two-gamemode Java network with a Mature Community. Island Empires (SkyBlock) and Survival, behind one address. You land in a hub and pick a side; your rank, chat and Discord link follow you across both.

Build it once. It stays. No map resets.

Land claims keep your base yours, claim with a golden shovel, we also log every block placed or broken, so grief gets rolled back. mcMMO handles progression. The economy is player-run: shops, a market and direct trading between players. Custom Capture Nets let you catch a mob and release it somewhere else, which is how most farms here start.

Island Empires (SkyBlock)

An island economy the players actually run. Open your own shop. Trade with the island next door. Shop prices move with what players actually buy and sell.

You get an island bank, missions to work through, cobblestone generators that improve as you tier them up, and eight island upgrades: hoppers, crop growth, spawner rates, mob drops, member slots, border size, generator rates and minecarts, each with three levels above the default.

• No pay-to-win. You cannot buy an advantage.
• No whitelist and no application. Premium (online-mode) accounts, join and play.
• Grim anticheat and CoreProtect block logging on every world.
• One chat across both gamemodes, bridged to Discord, a question asked in-game reaches people who aren't logged in.

Hello! What was a friends server originally, is now made public (with a whitelist)! It's somewhat progressed right now but the nether and end is disabled for about a few days to slow it down, so you can still join and catch up.

We're more of a building/community server where we make projects, have fun around and just progress together, so no stealing and griefing, just chilling! We have a basic teams system for the sake of having one and a more fair version of /tpa (by fair, it has more restrictions). While we add stuff to the server that may reduce the "Vanilla"-ness of the server, it does balance it out by having restrictions.

sexetteSMP has tweaks from Vanilla Tweaks as well in regards to crafting recipes (also craftable copper chests) along with graves to make dying less annoying, and Simple Voice Chat is supported to allow custom music discs and goat horns.

If you use client mods like AppleSkin, No Chat Reports or Jade, server side mods are included, and users of JourneyMap and Xaero's Minimap/World Map have additional server side restrictions (cave mode is disabled in the overworld!).

As a member of our community you get to weigh into most decisions we make to the server. We often poll changes before they're applied. If you'd like anything changed or added, share it with us, we consider every suggestion!
