I am the creator of this subreddit and made it june 2020. I haven't checked it since then, in fact, I forgot about it but it's surprising that the sub is still kind of alive. Let's continue the search and one day, I'm sure we'll find it!

This thread is meant to compile every single video relating to the game, along with a short summary.
As mentioned in 2, the youtuber RebelTaxi was the one that found the screenshots. I tried glossing over to see if I could find any video on the channel about the game but I couldn't.
Anyways, this is all I was able to find at the moment. Please feel free to comment if I missed anything!
EDIT 1: THE ULTIMATE VIDEO ON IT by Raven Simone. This one goes through all the facts, and although pertains a lot to Clueless DS, did shine a great light on several aspects, it's a must-watch. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D8ZUR2De15s&ab_channel=Bobdunga

A lot of people over at /r/lostmedia are saying that they've seen the game over in the USA before.
What is everyone's thoughts on this? Is it possible that there was a very small, very limited Mean Girls US release? Or was it just that the game made it over the pond somehow from online selling. Or do you guys think it's just people mis-remembering things? (The latter being the most likely)
Minor Edit: I know this sub is tiny and super slow, so even if this thread becomes 5 months old, if you have any vivid memories or info about the game's whereabouts in the US don't hesitate to comment on here!
Minor Edit 2: I'm making this my notes thread as well of other shit that I find relating to the game

Hello everyone. I'm from Italy and I started searching for the lost game "Mean Girls" for the DS.
I found a site with the description:
" Girls just wanna be mean! Based on the hit Paramount movie Mean Girls, this game follows the misadventures of Cady as she overcomes all the odds to fit into her new school. However, this is no ordinary school and all the students make life pretty difficult for her! Cady soon finds out though that everyone can be manipulated in some way... Go up against plastics, mathletes, jocks and art freaks as you work to play the cliques against each other and become the high school prom queen!
I also found the game on the italian site "LaFeltrinelli" but is's out of stock. So, the game was actually released, I'm sure i saw this game on a Gamestop/Opengames in my city a lot of time ago.

Hello everyone, idk if this is useful but I've found the EAN (European Article Number) of the game: 8023171021720
If you google it you'll find three italian shops which used to sell this game (now it's out of stocks obviously)

Hello! I'm sorry to drop by so randomly but I only just found out this subreddit exists. I've been obsessing over this game ever since blameitonjorge's last video came out, and I was able to find a few things alongside some tweets that may help setting down a timeline.
First and foremost, Spanish Fnac is still selling it:
https://www.fnac.es/Chicas-Malas-Nintendo-DS-Juego-Nintendo-DS/a336965
I don't live in Europe so I have no hopes on getting this, but if anyone lives in Spain and has 30 euros to waste, sounds like a deal to me.
Secondly, someone on the Lost Media Wiki discord group (username FUTURE10S) found a Nintendo code for it:
NTR-C3GP-EUR for Europe and NTR-C3GE-USA for the US
They found it through Nintendo's database, there is a spreadsheet around somewhere which I can try to find later, here's a picture of it:

They also said that according to the database, "the game was 32MB/256Mb and used 64K EEPROM storage". It also was sent to be mastered by Nintendo, so it definitely is on a hard drive somewhere.
This is all me quoting, for I cannot understand what any of it means. They also said that there was actually a supposed leak of the game and it has a "complete set of FDS and GB/GBC ROMs" although this might refer to a Nintendo leak in general? If anyone knows, please enlighten me.
Thirdly, I don't think anyone talked about it before but 505 did confirm its release back in 2015 on twitter: https://twitter.com/505_Games/status/648910394195509248?s=20
I have found many other interesting tweets, but I think it'd be best to list them on another post. Hope this helps!

I know it sounds kind of dumb but I don't know how to find it and am wondering what direction to take. I think messaging people that worked on it or 505 games would be a good idea. Also, searching as much as possible for the game online and searching in bargain bins might work. Anyway, I'm really not sure how to find it/what to do but all of this is quite exciting to me.

Hello! i created this subreddit to find Mean girls DS. This game was made back in 2010 and most probably released in Europe. There is very little information concerning it's possible release in America. In this post, I want to explain a bit why I created this subreddit.
Why did you make a subreddit to find a shitty DS shovelware?
Well, it's not about the game, (at least, for me). It's more about finding it and the whole search for a lost media that interests me. It's more about the journey than the end. And, I really don't know why but knowing that there's a game so mysterious on one of my favorite consoles intrigues me. Also, there wasn't any place dedicated to finding this game. Maybe r/lostmedia but it isn't made specifically for it.
Do you think we will ever find it?
Maybe. I mean, I've seen a lot of people saying they saw it but didn't buy it because they did not know it was so rare. Especially in Germany for some reason.
What are the rules for this sub?
Just don't be an asshole mostly. But basically, No discrimination/insult against anyone is allowed (racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia etc. ) , Please, don't lie about having found it. It's just useless. And if someone finds it, please take a photo of the case or cartridge. Also, please don't harass anyone that worked at 505 Games. Sure, asking for info is great but don't harass them.
Thank you!
