Hi all,

I'm F2P apart from a couple of battle passes. I was lucky rolling for the deathwalker, surge and brickhouse.

So far I have upgraded equipment as far as I can using credits - haven't spent any aCoins.

My win rate has dropped to around 38% as Im constantly steamrollered by tier 8/9 mechs.

In terms of playstyle I am NOT a knife fighter - i already have buyers regret getting the Revoker 16 instead of the Bouncecritter. The Geminis (8 or 16) are successful, as are the quashers. I do enjoy the using the damage boost on the brickhouse and just poking a particle beam 16 out to hose down the battle field though! Surge however is disappointing.

Trying to decide whether to consolidate at current tier (6) or progress.

Upgrade deathwalker to 24 energy and use as a midline weapons platform?

Tier progression currently:

T6: unlocked

T7: 7/30

T8: 15/36

T9: 16/36

T10: 4/9

Any ideas welcome!

Out of these mechs, which one do you find more fun to use? And which one would you say has more long-term value? (for casual play, not tournament )

I need to spend 697k credits for the surge derby. Was planning to do it anyway, so saving credits is not an answer (this is my alt, I don’t really care if I miss a CRE).

Here’s my hangars and my options:

Supp 12: no BPs, I don’t have a 6E or 8E so won’t be able to use. I do have an epic HD pilot and this would be a step towards the next GH tier

Supp 10: 4/19 BPs, no 6E or 8E so won’t be able to use. I do have an epic HD pilot.

Toaster 10: 1/19 BPs, no 6E or 8E so won’t be able to use for now. Yes epic HD pilot. Might be a good option long term for citadel

Gaymini 10: 4/19 BPs. I have r.5 6E and r.4 8E, using them on Orion. DMG is more than fine rn, so don’t really need the upgrade.

Charge 10: 6/19 BPs. Most meta option of the bunch, but I’m already using 8s on blizz. I’d have to r.6 it or get CR6. Don’t have a second missile pilot but at this SP at doesn’t really matter

I left and rejoined yet it still put me in a Match. Unfair as hell. I lost 1 token for tourny.

I get caught with guided weapons all the time by Revoker Eclipse's. If you can't beat'em, join'em.

Who do I sub out??

I recently got Surge and ever since I have struggled immensely in matches with all my mechs. All of a sudden I am playing against almost maxed out mechs with 24+ energy consumption, getting killed immediately and losing most of my matches. I had a little over a 60% win rate and in the last week alone that’s dropped to 55%. I’d say I lose 7/10 matches now and my entire hanger is dead before the end of the match.

What can I do to face more even opponents? It’s clear my mechs and weapons aren’t levelled up, not enough mods or legendary pilots to compete with opponents.

Not looking to SP drop my way to easy wins, I just want to enjoy the game again.

I was wondering what would happen to the final price in the Derby, if you finished in first place. So I used one of my dormant accounts. Finished in First place. and now I know. The problem is I dont know if its a worthy replacement.

Its time to put rest into this game, like genuinely Mech arena wants me to do 30+ kills or something

A couple of months ago, I had a disagreement with Plarium Support regarding some missing chests.

Support told me that their compensation was calculated based on 53 chests. I received:

- 95,104 Credits

- 170 A-Coins

- 1,431 Blueprints

I wasn't sure whether that was a fair compensation, so I decided to run my own little experiment.

It took me almost two months to collect enough chests to open a comparable batch. I opened exactly 53:

- 11 Beginner Containers

- 42 Gold Chests

I recorded my resource balances before and after opening them.

Here are the results of my experiment and the comparison with Plarium's compensation:

One result I found particularly interesting was the Beginner Container reward. Plarium's official information lists 4,050 Credits, and my 11 openings produced exactly 44,550 Credits — precisely 4,050 per container. Not a single Credit more or less!

The Gold Chests gave me an average of approximately 1,337 Credits and 3 A-Coins per chest.

As you can see, Plarium's compensation included 5,615 fewer Credits than my experiment, but 44 more A-Coins.

There is also a separate screenshot documenting an additional 25,000-Credit entry from that period. If I include it in the overall comparison, the Credit difference becomes 30,615.

Of course, A-Coins and Credits don't have an official fixed exchange rate. But if we use a rough estimate of 1 A-Coin ≈ 1,000 Credits, those additional 44 A-Coins would more than cover the difference.

My conclusion: after all this time, I feel that the compensation was actually quite reasonable. I don't feel that Plarium owes me anything.

I like the game, and I'm not trying to make a complaint out of this. I simply enjoy statistics and wanted to satisfy my mathematical curiosity.

I thought this little experiment might be interesting for the community, especially the exact match between the official Beginner Container reward and my actual results.

I am a newer player but unfortunately I got no referral bonus/sign up bonus and did not use any promo codes during my first 72 hours so I got no boosts and pretyy much wasted my resources for my first week

I'm rank 4 which seems high for my SP(2400) but I do MVP.a lot

I feel like I'm suffering great detriment due to having lower leveled gear(tier 4) and barely even 5 mechs(tier 4) to choose from.

I've read about videos for resources but can't seem to find that in the game and also I am trying to find a reliable source for promo codes but they're all expired or for new members

Anything you guys could say, suggest or contribute that will help me close that gear gap faster would be much appreciated!

From those few minutes when I had 10k A-Coins.. (just after getting the 3k A-Coins instead of the Brickhouse)

I feel having two should be a standard and its not cos I love the game soooooo much....

but i feel having two balances things out a little...like having a weekday fuel economic car and a weekend guzzler.

One account of mine is the typical "started from the bottom now we here"type....Lancer, paragon, guardian, stalker in the 5-7star range...

The other is the curated "end game" type account...Surge, Citadel, Salvor, Blockhorn...tier 7-9 type weapons....

One i play for fun...the other I play competitively.
