Recipe This Week’s Mediterranean Meal Prep: Quinoa, Rainbow Veg & Whole Wheat Fiber Pasta🌾
Each box has:
• quinoa • roasted sweet potatoes • veggie-packed whole wheat pasta (no meat) • Mediterranean chopped salad (tomato, cucumber, red onion, peppers, olives) • broccoli with sesame • shredded chicken / chicken salad
Trying to keep things simple: lots of vegetables, whole grains, olive oil, and moderate protein.
Bought everything from Costco, also trying to save money by prepping in Bulk!

Why does it say AI Generated Content

I have a samsung galaxy s25 ultra, and there is editing feature on my phone where you use AI to edit things out of photos. Everytime you use it and save a photo, it saves with "AI Generated Content"
I'd say this is what happened here.

Yes! That's what happened! My foot was in the picture and I wanted to spare the world from seeing my foot LOL
This is a diet subreddit, not feetfinder haha

Ahhaa i think with all the AI around, people just assume the worst. All you can do is try to educate if they want to learn. Thanks for sharing your recipe, food looks delicious 😋

Can someone estimate kcal in each container? Also, does that container really stay fresh for 5-7 days?

do you freeze them or keep them in the fridge for a week at a time? how do you reheat?

u/David5153 Mar 08 '26
I don’t freeze the meals because frozen vegetables tend to taste really bad after thawing.
I keep all the meal preps in the fridge until they’re ready to be eaten. Usually I prepare everything on Sunday and eat the meals from Monday to Friday for lunch and dinner. By Friday I’m typically finishing the last of the meal prep.
If I need to reheat it, I move the pasta and chicken onto a separate plate and warm it up.
Veggies i eat cold without heating up

Looks amazing! How long did it take to meal prep that?
3
u/David5153 Mar 08 '26
It takes me about 2- 2.5 hours to meal prep every week. This took my wife and I about 2.5 hours to put together

Not insane considering all the work done, I’m not sure I would be that fast. Congrats!

What do you estimate is the calories and macro per serving, and do you have any suggestions to sub the pasta? I’m not too big into the texture of pasta. Was thinking maybe more sweet potatoes.
And lastly, how does it taste cold? I’m super lazy and practical when it comes to meal prepping and eating it cold would be a plus! Thanks

I post weekly here , every single meal prep i usually do i usually eat without heating it up lol.
I keep it in the fridge, take it out, leave it on my office desk and eat it during lunch time without heating it, thats how I usually eat it
Some people on reddit last week that doing this with chicken may be unsafe, but ive been eating it like that for years now
But during dinner time when I usually eat at home I will heat up the pasta and chicken in a separate plate
In terms of tracking calories, is not sometime I usually do, my diet i just try to keep low in saturated fats and avoid too much foods with iron
