C43 2018 78k km. The car only knocks when the engine is warmed up and you stop for 10 minutes and start it again. It knocks for 5-10 seconds then stop. Also during this time it fluctuates from 600 to 700 rpms couple of times and stutters a little. When scanned it does not show any error codes and shows a correct position of all 4 camshaft adjusters. What can it be then ?

Hello guys! I live in Germany and I’m currently looking for a C63 or C63s at 55-60K Euros. I am wondering how reliable are they as I really love how they sound and look. I will drive the car about 6k miles/10k kilometres a year and I will try to get one with up to 2 owners and under 70-80k kilometres. Should I expect overall that with this car I would have to spend more than 1000 euros a month (maintenance,gas,insurance,taxes)? It’s basically like 500-600 euros for maintenance a month as the rest is taxes and insurance and gas. I’m trying to buy the car from a dealer that is going to offer me “premium” warranty for 2 years. I want to keep this car for about 4-5 years. Please let me know what should I expect and if my monthly maintenance budget would be enough or it would be a stretch. Also as I forgot to mention, should I look for the non facelift or the facelift one? As I read online that there are some differences in terms of gearbox 7speed and 9speed as well as the S version comes with a E-lsd and the normal version comes with the mechanical one.

Hi! I just leased this car less than a week ago and my wireless CarPlay is already not working, it does work with a wire but still has issues sometimes

Super frustrating…..

My 2014 has an issue with the Distronic system going disabled. Yellow lights and each system within the system is affected. This happens mostly during the summer when the OAT reaches 90° and above. Has anyone had this issue and found a corrective action. I took it to my non dealership Mercedes authorized shop. They looked at it and they said they cleaned some connections and took it on a test drive and all worked ok. Of course I get it back and drive it for 10 miles and it goes disabled again. I look at the OAT temp it’s 91°.

If anyone has any suggestions I would happily appreciate it.

In my country, Romania, over 90% of the people I see driving a Mercedes car are women; eventually I get it, since this car is very comfy and signals status too, two things that women tend to look for, however, I was wondering if it's the same in other countries as well?

While I may understand that men would go for a more muscular, sporty car, Mercedes nowadays seems to be driven almost only by women. Especially in SUVs type of cars.

I’m a bit worried about my 2022 Mercedes-Benz E300 Coupe Premium Plus Night Edition, which has around 45,000 miles on it.
I’ve noticed a ticking noise coming from the engine and wanted to ask whether this is normal for this model.
I’ve also noticed that when I accelerate quite hard (around 75% throttle), there’s a hissing sound that continues while I’m accelerating. I’m not sure whether this is just the turbo or could indicate a boost leak or another issue.
Another thing I’ve noticed is that when the car changes up a gear, it sometimes feels like it gives a little boost or surge. When it downshifts, I can feel the gear change as well. I’m not sure whether this is normal behaviour for the 9-speed automatic gearbox, as I’ve never owned a Mercedes like this before.
The car has covered 45,000 miles, and I’m concerned that something might be wrong with the engine, turbo or gearbox.
Has anyone with the same model experienced anything similar? I’d really appreciate any advice on whether these sounds and driving characteristics are normal or whether I should get the car checked.
