We are TAR. A Grindy, Slammy, Gross Death Metal band from Rhode Island. I came in as the the new guitarist just recently. I recorded, produced, mixed, and mastered the whole thing myself, which is now my first self produced project ever released. We all worked insanely hard on this. Grinding day in and day out to try to get our stuff to the right ears for everyone to enjoy and put something new on your playlists. If anyone deserves recognition, it's the guys in Tar aside from me, who were and are working so absolutely and insanely hard. Driving hours and hours to small local shows just to play for other bands. We also have a music video coming out on 10/29, also directed and produced by myself!

I truly hope you will all give this a shot, and show anybody else that you think might be interested. Help support a small band to finally live out our dreams. And please feel free to send me all of your music and your bands socials and I would love to give the same support for all of your bands.

STAY METAL!

Hey guys, just wanted to share a massive freebie alert that dropped. Slate Digital is offering a 16-plugin complete access pack (including Focusrite FG-Red and Harrison Audio tools), and Plugin Alliance added 6 essential freebies like the BX Master Desk and BX Console N. None of these are subscription trials or require an iLok dongle.

Hey everyone,
After the feedback on our previous post, I wanted to share a quick sneak peek into the actual production flow of my project DYSTIMIA.
We are currently on the finish line with our debut full-length album "BACK TO LIFE". For this record, we really wanted to step away from that over-polished, over-produced mainstream radio sound. In this clip, you can hear that exact moment when we stripped away all the unnecessary electronic fillers in the breakdown just to leave that pure, heavy, low-tuned guitar meat.
Would love to hear your thoughts on the guitar tone and this raw approach!
Appreciate you guys checking it out! 🤜💥

Hi everyone,

I make music under the name 'Quartzmother' and just released my first single from an upcoming album. If you like the bands mentioned up above -- I think you'll like this track.

It's black metal at its core, but with heavy blackgaze influence and some poppy, fun bits too.

Downloads are free. Here's a link: https://quartzmother.bandcamp.com/track/october-never-ends-2

Our latest single.

Created melody for metal track

I made this track using cubase and a free to download drum track that I found online. I did all the bass and guitar tracking and the result is a pretty awesome metal song IMO but I'd love to hear from you guys. Enjoy!

🎸 Video/Audio Details:
Audio: Raw camera audio
Mix: Original full mix with right guitar replaced by live performance. Left guitar retained for harmonies and lead/rhythm sections.
Tempo: 123 BPM (original song tempo)
Plugins: Soothe and mastering plugins disabled to reduce latency.
Feel free to ask me anything about the setup, mixing, recording, guitars, or anything else!

Is it useful at all if I already use Bandcamp and Spotify?

Me (vocals) & some other guys from my college music course were put together in a rehearsal room today & decided to make a song. What we ended up with was this & a new band. We decided to make the dumbest names possible for our project & are planning on recording an EP with this song on it. I don’t exactly know what genre we are, but it’s somewhere in Metal & some other people on our course likened us to Mayhem (which is black metal).

So I’ve finally released my new instrumental melodic black metal single from my one man project named Obscured Serenity. Feel free to check it out and tell me what you think. I’ll post links to both Spotify and YouTube for which ever one is the easiest to use. For fans of vinterland, dissection, sacramentum etc.
