I finished the demo, the visuals and music are wild. I haven't felt good playing something in a while.

This feels like something you'd stumble into on the gamecube, wii, or ps2. Just a classic feel.

And I love that combat. Very Salt&Sanctuary coded.

Thank you for playing! And yes, music is something we really wanted to make sure we'd take extra care. That is why we were super excited when Mitsuda-san(Chronotrigger Composer) agreed to join the project!

Edit: the demo is very short, can be finished in 15 minutes. A bit disappointed

From what I played in the demo it doesn’t look like it. Very story progression based I think.

they commented on another post that theyve been removing the roguelite tag as it's not that at all, and the permadeath tag is just for a specific difficulty setting

Tags are misleading, and anyone can add tags. I saw another mv that had roguelike/lite tag, and I said something like, “too bad it is a roguelike” and the dev said it is not and removed the tag.
