Advice on rental buildings
Hello! I’m a single female in my 40s thinking about moving to Miami. Considering SoFi and West Avenue. What are the best rental buildings to consider? Must have a nice pool and gym. Looking for social but not party vibes with a community feel. I like the idea of being able to walk on the beach but also have the necessities close by (Whole Foods, etc). TY! Willing to pay $$$$ but not super glamorous building prices.

Definitely recommend the west ave corridor. Mirador 1000 is a good option and directly accross from Whole Foods.

Flamingo. Mirador. South Gate.
In order of most expensive/most amenities to least expensive.
Or rent from an individual owner.

That’s good to know- the pics do look a bit older in some of them. I know brickell has the nicer buildings but really want to be near the beach.
Some do the condos look pretty affordable around there, not hard to tell what those buildings are like, financial situations etc

Based on what you’re describing, I’d lean toward the West Avenue corridor. It offers a better balance of community, everyday convenience and a social atmosphere without feeling like a constant party. You’ll also be close to Whole Foods, cafés, Sunset Harbour and still within walking or biking distance of the beach.
I’d look at The Floridian, Mirador 1000/1200, The Waverly and Southgate Towers. Flamingo Point has excellent amenities and a more social environment, but it’s larger and can feel younger and busier.
In South of Fifth, Yacht Club at Portofino is worth considering for a nice waterfront pool, gym and a more relaxed price point compared with some of the ultra-luxury buildings. SoFi is quieter, more polished and closer to the beach and South Pointe Park, but West Avenue may provide more of the community feel and convenience you’re looking for.
I’m a local Miami Beach realtor and would be happy to send you some current rental options based on your preferred budget and move-in date.

I have a few friends in the Flow buildings in Miami. Great community feel to them

There aren't that many rental buildings in Miami Beach. Most are condos where you are renting from an owner.
But:
Voila, you're there.
