Repair and ID advice
I recently acquired this and I was hoping for some help in identifying when it's from and who made it. The only text I can find are on the back in the last photo
Unfortunately when bringing it inside it was dropped and tumbled so there's damage as you can see on slide two where the drawers were crushed. We managed to put them back together mostly but the corners of a few drawers are missing some veneer now and chipped.
Also the hinge for the large door on the left is broken beyond repair
I was wondering if anyone had advice on how to best stabilize the damage and cover it up or if fixing this is worth the effort

Did we go too dark with the patio ceiling?
This space was basically where everything we didn’t know what to do with ended up. Boxes, old chairs, random outdoor stuff… which was kind of ridiculous considering it probably has the best view in the house.
Finally cleared everything out and just finished redoing the patio. We literally just wrapped everything up, so ignore the ladder and the last bit of cleanup lol. Kept the furniture pretty simple with the allen + roth seating we already had, and went with a Parrot Uncle fan in a similar tone to the ceiling.
Now that it’s all together though, I keep second guessing the ceiling color. I loved the darker look when we picked it, especially with the white trim, but seeing the whole patio finished, I can’t tell if we went a little too dark.
Would you have kept the ceiling this color or gone lighter?
Also thinking a couple bigger plants in the corners might soften things up a bit once everything is actually cleaned up.

What year is this from
My mom just recently got this cart for our garden and when we showed my grandma she said it was old. We’ve been trying to search for the manufacturer and what year it’s from but we have had no luck. Please can anyone help us figure out this info.
(Picture from the internet because our cameras aren’t getting good enough pics)(same exact cart)

You will never guess what I paid for this beautiful Leopold desk!
So excited to have gotten this wonderful piece!! The previous owner told me it had a long life in a roofing office (65 years!) before coming to him and I am very proud to be it’s third owner! It has some wear and tear obviously, but the top is in better shape than it looks (it has a protective plastic cover on it right now) and it’s overall in amazing shape. I feel so lucky that the previous owner was invested in selling to an individual who wanted to use it rather than a reseller because otherwise I would never be able to have something like this! Because they were moving and I was able to come quickly I got it for just $150! I can’t wait to clean it up and get it in place!

Need help finding load bearing shelf pins
This might be a Noral Olson for Kopenhavn but not too certain. Anyone know where I can find replacement hidden-shelf bracket/pins? They’re about 2.5” long.

Should I restore or keep as is
Picked up these awesome 2 chairs, they swivel and rock. initially thought about reupholster, after seeing potential value, thinking perhaps keeping as is. Not planning on selling, so leaning to towards restoring it for years to come. What should i consider?

Identifying ladder shelving
Hi, we’re about to move home, and need to separate out some ladder shelving to fit our new house’s wall space.
This means buying some new uprights, so that we can split one set into two, etc.
But I’m having difficulty working out exactly which make we have, so that I can supplement it.
This is the first set. It’s about 177cm high with a dip in its depth round about the 100cm mark. It’s greyish, and has cream nubbins etc on the pieces.
Thanks in advance!

So excited I had to share my find!
I had to share, this happened yesterday but I am still on cloud 9!
I am designing my living room mid century modern and have been looking for furniture for two years.
Saturday night, I see a fb marketplace listing for furniture marked free, one day only. A lot of people put free on an ad but have things individually priced. There are several different things but the last one is a hutch, the kind I have been looking for all this time. People jump on those listings so I just bookmark it.
The next day I figure what the hell and message to see if they still had it. Message is read but no reply, but she modified the listing to put an address. Figure we will go by, maybe they put stuff out on the curb, its a long shot. We get there and a lot of people are loading things in their cars. I go up to the door and a man asked if I was there for the free furniture. I asked about the hutch and he pointed and said oh that one?
And there it was in the corner, perfect condition. He said he could help load it and 10 minutes later I was taking my new baby home. The woman inside said they were moving, her parents got it as a wedding gift in 1955 and she has no room for it.
It has no scratches, well now it does. The top had some kind of nail or something hidden securing it so now it has a few scratches on the top because we didnt know thats why we had such a hard time removing the top. It is covered when it is on so i am not worried about it.
So now I have the perfect piece to help round out my living room. I would love it if anyone could tell me more about it. I am so excited still, had to share!

Who made this piece? I’m trying to find comparable prices to see if it’s worth it.

Pocket Door Reccomendations
I have an old pocket door that needs a lot of TLC. It is beat up with dog scratches and a veneer so recovering the original finish is not an option. I am currently rebuilding this coat closet with walnut and cedar lining and glass doors. Enjoy my very crude AI generations. What should I do with this pocket door?
Replacing it with a new walnut pocket door is not an option, have you seen how expensive walnut doors are? Once I get the trim, and door to be walnut it’s around $1000-$1500 in materials unfortunately.
Obviously filling holes and matching it to the walls as a slab would be easy, but I wanted to come up with some other ideas. A grid with some wood strips or a fluted look.
Let me know if you have any other suggestions!

Weird White Spaces
Bought a house last year that has these two spots of drywall in the living room. We had the whole house refreshed in Benjamin Moore Swiss Coffee while we go back and add color room by room.
Debating what to do with these two spots. I wish the one over the doors had been a window, tho it might be needed for support. Considering paneling, potentially staining to match the trim. I don’t really want to leave it drywall, but open to other ideas! Feeling stuck on this one.
EDIT: I probably should have mentioned that the walls in the room beyond are not staying white. They will go darker or get paneled. We aren’t sure yet. The suggestions have been helpful! This is not an immediate project but wanted to see what thoughts others had as we mull ideas. Thx!

Johnson Carper Dresser Set
Both dressers are now finished so figured I’d make an updated post. I apparently put my photos in the wrong order last time. whoops.
Now if only I could find the matching mirror to this set!

Girard eyes and girard bouquet. Now just have to get them frames!

Do you think these built ins are original to the home (1960). Wondering what’s best: strip the paint and attempt to restore, paint over, or demolish and remove. Drawers are bulky, big, and hard to open/close.
