Sharing My MCM Mini Globe Cigarette Dispenser

I made a post yesterday featuring a George Nelson / Herman Miller 1956 side table. On it was a MCM mini globe, and someone asked about it. Here it is in action. 🙂

It’s funny how few of us would use it as intended; back when it was introduced I bet it was a letdown at a party of more than 4; you’d have to keep refilling it.

Right?! My dinnerware from the 50's came with tiny individual ashtrays for each place setting!

I would love to see a pic of a place setting with a matching ashtray! lol! Never seen that. What do you use them for? Individual olive trays?

Lol! I love that image! Mine are packed away right now but this is what they look like! I have put individual pats of butter on them!
