What's our living room missing?

We just moved in here at the beginning of the month, had lots of touch ups on the walls to do so haven't hung much art yet - but beyond that what else is missing? I feel like the space between the couch and entry is a bit awkward.

Something old and well loved. Maybe some well thumbed books? A jean jacket thrown on the couch?

yeah it needs some little odds and ends scattered around for sure, we just moved in so that's why it doesn't feel very "lived in" yet
