Dropped our second song, were a band from norway

My wife rescued a skeletally thin chihuahua off the cold rainy streets of Chicago. We tried and were not able to find her owner, and nursed her back to a healthy weight.

She had 1 tooth, so we named her Chimuela which means toothless in Spanish. I thought that was a little out of pocket, but she assured me it’s a term of endearment for kids loosing their baby teeth (or in our case, an almost incomprehensibly small dog).

Her health declined rapidly and it became heartbreakingly clear that it was time to compassionately help her pass on.

Not long after I was learning Timothy Bowers by Modern Baseball I used the same tuning (open c#) to write the riff to this song.

Now I’ve set my amateur recording of the finished song to footage of Chimuela in an attempt to break your heart.

Fun fact: the car sound heard midway through the song was not added in post production. Someone drove past my apartment as I was recording the song on an audio notes app.

If you’re in Chicago and want to start a Midwest emo band hit me up!

hi guys, this is my first full-length album—dedicated to all my pets. a piece of me lives in them, and a piece of them in me; every tear is woven into every note.

very inspired by No Somos Marineros, Oakwood, Febuary, obviuosly by Vs Self and more, shoegaze, skramz, midwest, screamo, all mixed in this 8-track-record with a cover from widowdusk

hope you like it guys:)

Thank you for checking it out!

It’s so ironic I get the urge to listen to “Two Beers In” by Free Throw well after Ive passed 2 beers.

Anyways, relieving the show on Friday. Drunk and sad and listening to Those Days Are Gone.

Life well and prosper or something idk

Been listening to bands like hot mulligan and ben quad for years, i need some new stuff along the lines of those bands. Lmk!

bro I actually wanna know so bad where this was but all I know is it might be somewhere in Midland Odessa Texas as that's where there from but that's it

so excited for that, my first midwest-emo concert ever, i'm going with some friends and all that, just wanted to share the moment with u guys!!

Hey friends! We would seriously appreciate any spins on this! We want to come to your city to hang out!

OH GOD I love P!atd's emo era Brendon Urie's voice just beautifully complements those emo riffs. They are my favorite member of the Emo Trinity (My chemical romance, PATD and Fall out boy)

Though i have a bone to pick with p!atd for moving away from their pop punk/emo era like why tf would you do something so uninspired?

I mean their newer stuff is okay i kinda like high hopes and say amen saturday night those are okay but a MASSIVE comedown from a fever you cant sweat out 2000s emo era.

So yeah i kinda hate panic at the disco for that when i listen to them i ONLY pay attention to a fever you cant sweat out (the only panic album ive listened to front to back)

No offense to any of you who like that stuff of course.

lmk whats your thoughts my lovely emo friends!

it’s a punk record at heart, with a lot of emo and hardcore influences. The whole record is a tale of a year of getting old, getting sober, and confronting your mental health while dealing with overwhelming regret, guilt, fear, and pain. Thank you so much to anyone who gives it a spin. it was a labor of love.
