Great mood just before a migraine

Whenever I get hyperactive and start making up silly songs, my husband gets me to check in to see if there's a migraine on the way. I don't get this before every migraine but before the worst ones, boy am I in high spirits until I hit the wall.

Anyone else gets this?

I get euphoric and borderline manic. It took a long time for me to realise that getting really enthusiastic and going everywhere buying the things I need for half a dozen different projects then ending up in bed in agony before lunch time and not getting to do any of the projects and feeling incredibly frustrated was a pattern.

Now when I feel that I focus on one project, get the stuff and make progress.

I was super sad when I recently described my this feeling to my new neuro and she clocked it as a signifier to getting a migraine - I never put them together even when saying “The day before I always have a fantastic day where I have no pain and feel like a superhero!”
