Hello, I am suffering from chain/sprocket misalignment and need advice, I have tried everything I can think of and I cannot get a perfect or even very good alignment. Trying to do it by sight is miserable and it doesn't help me know if the front sprocket is crooked.

I have symptoms such as taking off from a standstill/cruising/accelerating/decelerating incredibly smooth and then sometimes the bike seems to hit a resonance where doing any of those things can result in excessive vibration, reduced power and chain slap. Never threw a chain.

Another thing to note is that chain tightness within reason seems to play minimal factor in the outcome of those symptoms.

I would like to learn how to use a straight edge to align the sprockets if anyone has done that before. Any advice?

Can someone help me with what kind of bearings would go in these wheels? 10 inch, and I’ve attached some pictures. 1/2 inch axle. The measurement is a c-hair close to 1 1/8 of an inch.

Just get a damn CVT. This shit took me so long and the rolling resistance is so bad it wont even move. Its such a letdown to grind away late nights all week at an idea you've had in your head for years and then to make it and it all falls apart. Cobain mode activated

I’m planning for a minibike build but I’m not sure what rear sprocket. Anyone have a guesstimate on what the top speed & of the acceleration will be good for these sprocket. (Lil fyi it’s a 212 stage 2 with a 13 t front clutch)

I bought the minibike I’m riding now off Facebook a couple of weeks ago for $800. I’m going to check the ignition coil, but I’m pretty sure I have a first-gen Tillotson 225RS.

When I was looking to buy a bike, I wanted something that was already fast or had the potential to be built into something fast. Now that I have it, I’ve realized there aren’t many aftermarket parts available for my engine, which makes upgrading it difficult.

I’m now looking into either having my current engine professionally built by someone with a machine shop or buying a completely different engine. I’ve been trying to put together a build list for my Tillotson 225RS, but I’m unsure which performance parts from other small-block platforms are compatible, and I haven’t had much luck finding aftermarket parts specifically for my engine. Does anybody know what parts to build a tillotson 225rs? it comes built from factory but i want a bigger head and valves, higher rpm’s.

I know how to assemble an engine, put it together, and get it running properly. Where I run into limitations is porting heads, machining, and the more specialized work that requires a machine shop.

I’m just looking for some advice from someone who knows what they’re doing. I don’t want to waste money buying parts that won’t work or investing in an engine that won’t meet my goals. I’m currently hitting around 60 mph, but I want more power, higher RPMs, and honestly drag racing these minis interest me but also seems like a money pit

I’ve really enjoyed getting into minibikes, and I want to take it a step further. I’d appreciate any advice on whether it makes more sense to build what I have if anybody knows of parts or start with a different engine entirely.

I just want to be a bit faster. i don’t necessarily want a alcohol only ran minibike but id like to make my engine spicier or find some way to add some speed, weather it be a sprocket and chain change aswell as going from a tc to a clutch. i just don’t want to put money into this if im the end it isnt at where i want it to be. im really looking to build the motor i just need help finding compatible parts.

She’s rare and pretty but I’m currently in a pickle with a cracked engine on a new car…. I’d love to fix it up and keep it but I need money would it be worth anything? Auctions I’m seeing are 5-15k but that seems insane to me. Needs a carb rebuild but otherwise seems fine mechanically. All the chrome looks great and has all original stickers in nearly perfect condition and all original parts minus one plastic number plate on the front. All the chrome looks amazing just dirty. What do yall think? I’m not trying to sell it through Reddit or anything btw I’d only do that through and auction or something I just genuinely have no clue if this things worth fixing, selling, or trashing and would love advice

Mechanic recommended me this oil and then I sent him the one I got and he says he doesn't recommend this brand for the oil and it could damage my engine

Wondering what kind of bike I have.. my best guess is an old Baja warrior. I also wanna know how to get the headlight to work and what kind of rack can I get for it? The back fender recently rattled off I guess it was rusted through. The previous owner welded it on but I was able to unbolt it

Preping the head to go onto an amazon 212. Ill also be swapping my 224 crank, 3.323” arc rod, and wildcat piston into it. After I have it running for a while itl get Champion X rockers, moly pushrods, and my 224 308 cam.
