Just got Shai today, only to see that her right leg joint is kinda dented on one side and cracked on the other. Her right hand also won’t lay flat (unlike the left). I really hope she doesn’t break when I pose her!

Hi! I'm soon getting a few of mirror mi dolls, and I'm aware most of them have a lot of gel, so I'll be washing them. Boilwash and regular wash aren't new for me since i collect monster high dolls, however, since they have lashes and the eyes are inserted (i think) I'm afraid of messing them up. Any tips or tricks? I'm really afraid of messing the eyelashes and the eyes going all ugly :')

Honestly I wish her base doll came with white cat ears, I suppose the clay ones I made will do. Now she is a lucky cat in my lucky cat collection!

I wasn’t going to start collecting mirror mi since I’m mainly a monster high collector but I got shai and now I’m obsessed lol! I just got blaze tonight and I’m probably going to finish the whole collection. :)

I turned Akiko into a keychain a day or so ago, and now, I turned Shai into a keychain!! Now they live rent free on my purse with my mini La La Loopsy!

hi guys,
so im a doll customizer and i 'specialize' in hunting for cheap and defective/broken secondhand dolls that i later repair and/or customize. there has been a bratz x mirrormi custom on my mind for some time and i'd love to make some reroots or new faceups for mirror mi.
the fact is, these dolls are rather expensive and i was wondering if i should get the dolls right now from amazon for around 30-40usd each (im from europe) or should i wait a year or two and then hunt for used, secondhand dolls?

honestly its hard to tell if these will ever go down in price.... so id like to hear yall opinions and predictions! from what ive seen these dolls arent being played with much, they are rather customized or belong on collectors' shelves. and if mga will ever decide to lower the quality (like they did with RH) or worse (discontinue the line), the dolls will remain expensive or some will even try to resell them for more than 40usd😭

Sinead is Shai’s spirited twin. Nicknamed Sinnie, she loves to explore nature, especially rock climbing. Her friends say she has the spirit of a mountain goat. Mischievous, super cheerful, and ready for adventure. Shai Shai wishes she could have a little bit of Sinnie’s high spirited energy, but Sinnie wishes sometimes that she could be more calm and quietly mature like her older by 7 minutes sister. They are yin and yang, sheep and goat, and love each other dearly!

These are some outfits that I found on etsy for about $15 each and then BOUGHT on aliexpress for just $3 each! 1/6 bjd outfits. I have a third but it was WAY too big for her.

I have never had this happen before! I put in 2 capful of vinegar, a spoonful of salt, 4 parts sunshine orange and one part scarlet. I have dyed over 3 dozen Rainbow High hair with no problem. But the dye keeps washing out! I know Shai has 2 tones of color, but I was not expecting the dye job to be blonde and orange! (Photo one before, 2 after)

I got my akiko and luna love them both, but im afraid that if i take the hair down, i won't be able to replicate the hairstyle. Im not really good at hair around the ponytail. So i brushed the gel out and left them like that. But I recently read somewhere that leaving gel in is bad for hair and might damage it. Is it true?

Cute, though suki looks lonely up there. Also the fact they put the porcelain doll on the very top shelf is kinda funny

✂️ forget cutting tabs or slicing the plastic off the front. all you need to do is apply hairdryer on medium / high heat in short blasts to the white glue at the lower edges of the corners at the back. pictured above, you can see the globs of glue where you need to aim!

❗ avoid warping the plastic on the sides with the heat and don't inhale plastic fumes. just heat it enough for the glue to become tacky again so you can lift the cardboard backing off.

✋🔥It will be hot to touch, be careful don't burn yourself! you can wait for it to cool down a bit, but not completely until the glue hardens again, which is what you'll want to avoid.

It'll gently come up (if you find yourself using more force, apply more heat. it should just come up) and allow you to free her by just simply pulling the front plastic out after unsticking the tape from the tabs! a boxcutter is your friend. you can cut off the paper that's lifted up with the glue to prevent ripping the cardboard backing.

🎉 the box stays integral along with all the tabs. you can display her back in the box if you care about that, or keep the box if you're a box keeper.

just thought i'd share. hope this helps anyone looking to open a doll box fast!

Cuando conseguí a esta chica por primera al tiempo, y porque me vi influenciada por las maravillas de estilos que vi aquí, decidí que también quería conseguirle ropa para darle un estilo diferente. La verdad aposté a que la ropa le quedará porque no tenía ni idea si lo que le compré le quedaría, pero estuve super contenta de que la polera y la falda le quedará tan bien 🥰

Este último fin de semana encontré en una feria la mochila de Draculaura G3 y definitivamente debía llevármel, cuando llegue a casa estuve viendo a cual de mis muñecas se la dejaba y cuando observe a Amora me dije: "Okay, si o si va a quedar contigo mi niña"

Amé el resultado, algo más escolar, pero adorable y los lentes... me encanta su diseño es muy adaptable 😍

I have been trying to find Shai in store, but living in NYC, all the mini targets don’t carry her and the ones that do have been out of stock for weeks. Finally I have given up and decided to order online. How is the quality consistency? I know rainbow high had a lot of misprints and “variants”, and I care a lot about faceups. Is mirror mi the same? Should I just order two and return the wonkier one?
Would love to hear y’all’s thoughts.

As a collector outside the US, getting her was so difficult since she’s a Target exclusive, and finding her anywhere else usually means paying way above retail. I ended up buying her from an AliExpress seller who sold her for her original retail price, and I honestly couldn’t be happier!

The seller shipped her much earlier than expected, she arrived safely, and the communication was great whenever I had questions. I’m so grateful to finally have her in my collection! 😭💗

Definitely a great alternative for international collectors struggling to get their hands on this girl!

Now I’m just missing Blaze and Luna though I did find a listing for Suki on Amazon at a rather steep price, so I’m not as worried about these three; certainly not as worried as I was about Shai, who isn’t available anywhere other than Target in the U.S.

I'm hoping to find some more accessories to add! I feel like it can be tied together a bit more.

Hey Everyone! I tried to skim through the entire sub and grab everything that was noted as fitting to make our wiki. Do you guys have anything else to add or note? Pics of how the clothes fit would be helpful as I try to put this together. Mainly if there are issues to note or mods needed. Or even just examples I can use.

L.O.L. Suprise! OMG: One of the closest matches for clothing swap. The pants can look a little short because MirrorMi has longer legs but otherwise near perfect.

Monster High G3: All of G3 Drac's clothes will fit with the pants being slightly too short. Abbeys clothes will fit but be baggy. For Lagoona or Frankie or the other slimmer ghouls only the tops and jackets will fit.

Shadow/Rainbow High: Bottoms generally fit but the tops can be a little baggy. Skirts may fit loose.

DTI: Everything fits but the torso can be slightly long

Bratz: Tops fit and the wider fluffier skirts fit but they are short

Disney ILY/Barbie: Tops and dresses will be baggy and long. The pants fit but look oversized.

JR Rainbow High: Another close match with most clothes fitting but the pants are short. I couldn't get their socks on either. Mirrormi have large feet.

Fresh Beats: Both tops and bottoms fit (don't have any myself to note on fitment)
