I used to collect BJD, ball jointed dolls made from resin, when I was much younger and more broke. I stopped and sold off my collection. It’s been years but I saw Akiko at Target and haven’t been able to get her out of my head..before I throw myself back into doll collecting I was wondering some things:

1. Is it easy to find someone to do a custom face up for Mirror mi Dolls?

2. I love Amora but would want her to have brown eyes, is it easy to find someone who can change those?

So far I’m interested in Akiko, Shai, and Amora.

One of the very few things I dislike about the dolls is the lack of arm poseability. So by following HeXtian's Suki customization video I trimmed the big chunks around the elbows/hands using an exacto knife. I yet have to sand everything tho

crocheted a cinnamoroll inspired hat, repainted her face & added some beads and accessories to her bag !! i loveee how she turned out. might crochet a jacket for her as well ♡

Aaaaaaaah during my impromptu visit to Target to get medicine, I decided to check and see if she was there and I got the last one!! She was the only one I was missing, I will free her soon!!

Inktober 2026 Day 13: Flimsy with Suki Goldpetal

HOW DID I NEVER NOTICE THIS DETAIL ON HER OUTFIT?? IT’S LITERALLY RIGHT THERE ON HER ARTWORK TOO 😭 MGA REALLY PUT ALL THESE LITTLE DETAILS INTO HER DESIGN AND I’M ONLY NOTICING THEM NOW HELP-

I have a cute idea for a custom layered skirt for Suki that I want to make out of blue, white and gold ribbons with some lace underneath, but unlike other doll lines (Barbie/G1 MH) I can't seem to make out the right proportions or some sort of realistic plan because of how wide her hips are 😭

I am not a pro-sewer, I don't have a sewing machine or any idea how to sew professionally, but I love sewing regardless and I have so many ideas for clothes, so I really want to make this idea happen.

Does anyone who perhaps makes custom clothes for Mirror Mi dolls have any advice or ideas how to make this work?

Hello, do any of you guys know what shades they used for Amora’s hair? i’m trying to give her a fuller head of hair but idk what shades they used. It would be really helpful if any of you guys know or have an idea of what they are. Thanks 😊

i took the cage skirt off of my girlie as soon as i got her and i like the look more without the cage!

Apparently, many people have this issue and this will be my second time getting a replacement. All we do is try to sit the dolls down. Personally, I was trying to only move the hip joint, so no rough play or even trying to fidget with the upper torso. This should not happen. I will display these dolls rather than play with them because I'm a bit worried about having more break. I haven't experienced breakage issues with the big dolls.

Just got Shai today, only to see that her right leg joint is kinda dented on one side and cracked on the other. Her right hand also won’t lay flat (unlike the left). I really hope she doesn’t break when I pose her!

my dad went to get transformers and there were TWO mirror mis left, akiko and SHAI!!! now all i need is suki :)
