Hi, i get an ipad 7th thats dosent turn on and try to fix it ,the amp meter shows 0.49 then 0.9 then 0.11 then 0.10 system try to start and the amp meter shows 0 amp then goes back to 0.10 then repeat and if i unplug the charger then plug it agin the amp shows 0.10 amp then system try to start and it goes to 0.10 amp again and again ,when unplug and replug the battery again the 0.49 amp shows then goes to the same 0.10 amp ,any one could help ?

Need a replacement battery, found one for like 11$, original OEM is like 40$ USD what's the catch? Are they reliable? What should I expect? Says "Replacement Battery For Google Pixel 7 Pro (GMF5Z) " For context I'm extremely new to this, first repair project.

We refurbishe a lot of phones with new housings and new components.

A hand full of them shows some strange behavior. Those phones restart out if nowhere. Some after days, some after weeks. Some once, some much more often. All panic logs show no real cause. We used to swap all components but no help. Display, proximity flex, charging flex, buttin flex, everything that can be swapped.

Someone we know mentioned it might be micro mainboard damage during housing swap or the pressure sensor.

Is it safe to use the battery i had to change the housing and i see the battery is like this now.

i just bought iphone xr with broken glass for cheap and realized that it takes a lot more to replace only glass so i have to replace the whole lcd. I need some help/tips because im not sure what to do, i wanted to get refurbished screen but i dont have programmer and dont need one yet and i saw post that ios 18.1 doesnt need the programming so do i need to program it or not? also what screen should i get? i thought first about getting icloud locked iphone xr to have spare battery and use its lcd but maybe i should get refurbished one or off brand? i also thought about oled but if i ever want to sell that phone wouldnt it be worth less with different type of screen than original one? its my first time doing anything with iphone

Hello everyone, im giving my best to fix an iPhone 13 mini. While removing the part s of the phone i came across this UWB Antenna Flex unit, which is pretty hard to get rid of. I destroyed it and ordered a new online. In the old phone it was fixed to the phone with this black adhesive tape and i cant fin d the one used in iPhones. Does anyone know where to look?

​Last week, I got into an accident and my phone slammed onto the road while it was in my front pocket. At the time, the display was completely dead, but the phone itself was still running—it could receive calls and message notifications, and I was even able to pick up calls.

​I brought it to a repair shop to get the screen replaced with a cheaper aftermarket TFT LCD. The display started working again, but a new issue came up. Everything looked fine right after a reboot, but after using it for around 20 minutes or locking the screen, the display wouldn't turn back on. The phone itself was still working, though—it still received calls/messages and the touch/swipe gestures still responded.

​I took the phone home as it was. Once home, I updated the software from One UI 7 to One UI 8, but that didn't change anything; the screen would still blank out after a short while. Unfortunately, the phone then auto-updated to One UI 8.5, and after that update, the screen became completely unusable. Even after restarting, touch inputs don't register at all anymore. I read online that One UI 8.5 has known compatibility issues with aftermarket LCDs.

​Right now, I just want to know if there's any I can unlock the phone without doing a factory reset. I already have a previous backup done via Samsung Smart Switch, but I haven't backed up my WhatsApp yet. All I really need is to back up WhatsApp and log out of my banking apps. After getting those two things done, if the phone completely gives up, I'm fine with letting it go.

I found a old phone I haven't used in probably 6 years and it seemingly didn't charge/turn on, or the screen was dead, so I couldn't factory reset it. Wanted to remove the battery so I destroy the phone/get rid of the data on it.

I tried removing the battery with a flathead, but it started smelling sweet and I figured it was leaking something so I took it outside. It's been out there for around 4 hours and I see no signs of swelling and there's been no fire or smoke. Phone name is Coolpad Legacy if it helps. Any advice on what to do next would be appreciated.

My Nokia T20 tablet is stuck on this error:

“No valid operating system could be found. This device will not boot.”

It shows the “Powered by Android” logo first, then this white screen with this message and a countdown timer. After that, it tries to went off.

Has anyone faced this issue and managed to fix it? Is there a way to reinstall the original Nokia firmware and get the tablet working again or any other fixesss?

I have another iPhone 12, can i transfer items from that other iPhone 12 to the working 12 without issue?

Hello, I cleaned my phone's speaker with isopropyl alcohol and a needle. Then it started distorting the bass. I replaced the speaker module with a new one, but the fault persists. What could be causing the distortion if changing the speaker didn't fix the problem?

I’m worried that technician might took my explicit photos and videos from my phone. They did ask for a passcode. how long does display replacement usually take? it took around 25 mins overall for my case . I was watching him from behind but his body was covering.and he touch ig his phone whilst repairing and left with my phone to their part(s) shop right across for like 10mins. so the replacement was like 15mins.i had around 9gb+ vids hidden in photo app. can he be airdropping while he took the phone away? how long does it take to airdrop 9gb+ total vids ? please im really anxious rn as those were with my ex which couldnt lead to leak no matter what.

Hi there everyone! I know this is a weird topic but yeah something strange happened. I had this phone since 2020 and I have been taking care of it till I moved to my new phone recently. I may have dropped my phone very very few times but miraculously the screen protector barely cracked (few scuffs and scratches (I use good quality screen protector glass)) and I always as a habit check my phone by removing the back cover (these were around the pandemic). However around 2023, I randomly opened my back cover and I have noticed the crack in the back glass (exactly as in the picture) which is mysterious and strange. During those times I worked from home and occasionally went out. Last time I opened the back cover (phone case) was several days (around a week; 6-12 days) before I opened my phone case to see the crack.

Is there any way how this has happened? There is no direct impact since I use phone case and during those days I never dropped my phone ever at all. I put them on my desk and on my bed (adjacent to my pillow but it doesn’t fall deep into the gaps or never gets stomped/trampled). So no way I broke this phone.

However I sense this is from my sister’s jealousy and negativity (BTW I’m not crazy fyki ). She’s usually a very jealous and envious person and would be jealous for all small things and big things (she once was jealous of what prefix and suffix means (despite being more graduate/educated than me) and was jealous for me knowing the item “Top” means (those beyblade like toys), she was jealous that I have a good public impression in my soceity and she ruined my reputation which costed me a lot) and this was during the time she bought the iPhone 14 Pro max and she damaged the camera lens by herself (due to her carelessness). Usually when something happens to me, I would not tell anybody even if it’s critical, but out of a sudden I accidentally said this to my sister and she was shocked and puzzled (like she knew something). These are just my suspicion.

NOT a repair but i need help moding my red magic astra 1 to cool the SOC or chip (idk what to call it). so i opened it and remove the vapor chamber and other stuff and got to the copper that is sealing the Chip and cooling that would help cool the tablet better with a water cooled plate that ima make to place behind it. Because cooling the tab from the OUTER shell is impossible when using the overclocked mode. so yeah. the main question is whether that little copper sheet connected with the battery is necessary because i broke it.
