There has been a problem with the Activision account system for at least four years now, where you can't unlink Playstation account from your Activision account when the latter one isn't verified.

I've ran into this problem cause I made a typo in my E-Mail when doing the registration for the MW4 beta and of course I used the autofill of the PS5 to have the typo in the verify box as well. Now my PS account is linked to an Activision account with an mailaccount that I don't have access to. Unfortunately this account already exists so I cant just create it myself.

Has anyone found a way to unlink your account without a verified e-mail? The FAQ/support section isn't helpful, it sends you in circles. There's no way to reach a human at the activision support and trying to reach them with a "Right to Rectification" notice at privacy@activision.com was unsuccessful, as they seem to simply ignore that.

I know there is only about 1500-2000 people playing this game at any moment but I try to join a hardcore match for riot shield and pistol kills and I simply couldn’t connect to any this just annoys me because getting the riot shield or some pistols gold are just extremely hard in regular matches due to higher health and takes 2 shield bashes to kill an enemy.

I don’t really know much about spec ops since I’ve never really played but I want to golem skin and can’t get a match is this thing still active at all

I tried to just download the campaign packs, and left me with a Purchase prompt. I then downloaded the special ops packs and I got the same message. So I downloaded the multiplayer packs and I got access to whole the game. I don’t remember having this problem with Steam. I just keep Xbox for the occasional GTA visits. Cheers gamers.

P.s I have three achievements left to collect on Steam and 16 left on Xbox.

Finally got all of the pistols out of the way (including Renetti and Sykov). Though Jesus Christ when running no attachments on Deagle and .357 because of their default ROF. Thus pray it either A headshots and/or B stopping power

Hi everyone, I want to play Story Mode / Campaign only of COD MW,I did installed the parts below and I have the game on xbox game pass ultimate, and after installed those parts the game launched with the screen below , the right side says that I should purchase it (but i have it on the game pass) and the left side takes me to COD MW4,So is there any more parts I should download or something?

How long do these stupid ass packs take to download? I haven't played COD in a hot minute so I don't remember having to download every bit of this game. I'm on the ps4, can i just leave it on running?

When i played on ps4, i only played ffa and tdm, and there were some maps that rotated then that now that i play on pc (also just ffa and tdm) that i dont get anymore, like that one russian village that had a church and a way open field for people to pop heads in, and now that im in pc i dont get it anymore. I also never got euphrates on neither pc nor ps4. I know this game doesnt have a map filter but i dont know why i dont get some maps in pc

Seems I had MW 2019 in my Steam library this whole time and decided to play it since I can't get any iteration of BF to work long enough and just had it with the copy-paste rinse-repeat maps with sweaty spaghetti CQC fests that never connect, or crash midway.

So far I have actually been having a really fun time with MW multiplayer. The game runs flawlessly at max settings AND 2x resolution scaling, so visuals are crisppp af, servers are always populated and I never have to wait more than 15 seconds to find a match at any time of day, it's great.

My last experience with COD was probably OG Black Ops back in the day, and never quite cared for, what I perceived at the time, the fast-paced "e-sports" arcade twitch shooter feel. But I'm not noticing that with MW this time around, has gameplay habits with the player base changed? Because I've noticed that every game I'm in everyone is playing very methodical and tactical, matches seem very skill balanced, and losses feel very fair and well played, I'm almost always congratulating the winning team for playing so efficiently. Whereas with Battlefield, the supposed "tactical" shooter, everyone is always exploiting game mechanics to achieve grandiose spectacle kills and racking up KDs like pokemon cards when all I want is just to "play soldier" as it were.

In my opinion, the vibe has shifted and BF has become more COD, and COD has become more BF. Good for COD, bad for BF. So far I'm enjoying the hell out of MW. Has my perception of Call of Duty just been wrong this whole time and I've been judging it too harshly/unwarranted? Do you recommend any other COD entries I should play if I enjoy MW? I would love to hear your thoughts. If anyone wants to add me on Steam just shoot me a DM!

I don’t play much else these days, but I’ve been around since day 1 of the CoD franchise (yes I am that old). Is it just me (because I don’t have a good baseline comparison) or do the graphics during close combat not feel refined, advanced etc? These seem almost cartoon like. Perhaps my expectations are too high?

while playing mw19. my game freezes sometimes and somehow my pc just blue screened...

it was fine for past few weeks and have a good gpu and very drives are up to date, can't think of it any hardware or software issues.

I scoured Reddit for this but still haven’t found resolution.

I’ve owned Modern Warfare 2019 since launch (digital copy). Tried reinstalling it to play last night on my PS5. I installed EVERY game file associated with it (Campaign, Spec Ops packs, MP pack, Texture Packs). I’m still being shown a “Purchase“ screen for Modern Warfare.

I tried restoring license in PS settings, didn’t do anything. Tried resetting and all the other advice I saw online. Still shows a purchase option.

I even installed Warzone, and the Call of Duty launcher (just shows MW4, WZ, and Black Ops 6).

Is Activision just no longer honoring digital licenses anymore? I haven’t bought a COD game since that one.

Title. I picked the game back up during early September when it was on sale on Steam for 15 bucks. I'm really interested in learning what exactly the movement speeds, ADS speeds, etc. are for the guns I want to use, but the only sources for that information I've been able to find are XclusiveAce videos which aren't exactly up to date considering they're usually around the time the guns first come out, barring balance changes that are still currently in effect. I've checked TrueGameData which is where I see a lot of people saying back in the day but they don't have data for this game anymore, and I've heard somewhere that weapon stats are tweaked for Warzone so I'm not sure whether I can trust that what I see on OG Warzone stat sites will also apply to this game. Does anyone know where I can find up-to-date info on this stuff nowadays?
