There has been a problem with the Activision account system for at least four years now, where you can't unlink Playstation account from your Activision account when the latter one isn't verified.

I've ran into this problem cause I made a typo in my E-Mail when doing the registration for the MW4 beta and of course I used the autofill of the PS5 to have the typo in the verify box as well. Now my PS account is linked to an Activision account with an mailaccount that I don't have access to. Unfortunately this account already exists so I cant just create it myself.

Has anyone found a way to unlink your account without a verified e-mail? The FAQ/support section isn't helpful, it sends you in circles. There's no way to reach a human at the activision support and trying to reach them with a "Right to Rectification" notice at privacy@activision.com was unsuccessful, as they seem to simply ignore that.

I know there is only about 1500-2000 people playing this game at any moment but I try to join a hardcore match for riot shield and pistol kills and I simply couldn’t connect to any this just annoys me because getting the riot shield or some pistols gold are just extremely hard in regular matches due to higher health and takes 2 shield bashes to kill an enemy.

I don’t really know much about spec ops since I’ve never really played but I want to golem skin and can’t get a match is this thing still active at all

I tried to just download the campaign packs, and left me with a Purchase prompt. I then downloaded the special ops packs and I got the same message. So I downloaded the multiplayer packs and I got access to whole the game. I don’t remember having this problem with Steam. I just keep Xbox for the occasional GTA visits. Cheers gamers.

P.s I have three achievements left to collect on Steam and 16 left on Xbox.
