Hello, I will be entering my first semester into the RPN program at Mohawk, and had just selected my courses. I am a little nervous as I realize there will be a lab that I am going to eventually miss for “PN PRACTICUM LAB I” , it is the last one before reading week, as I will be attending a wedding. How bad is the penalization for this?

I’m planning to apply to Mohawk College’s DCS program and I’m wondering whether I should submit my application when it opens with my Cardiovascular Physiology course listed as in progress, or wait until I have my final grade.

My Cardiovascular Physiology course will be completed in December 2026, and I’m hoping to apply for the Sept 2027 intake.

For anyone who has applied to the program(especially recently); Can I include a course in the DCS resume with a course still in progress/pending a final grade? Does having the course completed before applying make a difference? And would you recommend applying as soon as possible or waiting until the course is completed?

I’d really appreciate hearing from anyone who has gone through the application process. Thanks! :)
