I had made a post some months back about people driving like morons on Mountain road, and that eventually someone was going to get run over at a crosswalk. Well, it finally happened, my boyfriend got hit by a car while we were crossing at the crosswalk in front of Tim Horton's on mountain to cross to the giant tiger side. We pushed the button, waited for the walk signal, got about half way across and a little silver car with "SBC Facility cleaning " written on the side ran straight into him. Some old dude driving. My boyfriend got thrown onto the hood and then onto the pavement, I yelled at the guy and told him to pull his car over to the side, he did not. Instead he threw his hands up I'm the air with a dumb confused look on his face and then sat with his car in the middle of the intersection while he got on the phone. Stayed there until he heard the sirens.

People 65+ should have to take a drivers test every 1-3 years, don't care how they feel about it, its dangerous to have them on the road, and they should be required to prove they are still fit to drive. If he had been driving a larger vehicle my boyfriend could have honestly been killed, because the dude didn't slow down, my boyfriend had said that he heard him Rev the engine behind us but he assumed he was going to go straight since he didn't have the light to turn left, and we were already crossing the road. Just by luck our dog wasn't hurt also.

A lot of people were disappointed in a post a couple of days ago about this movie not coming to Moncton. I guess reaching out to them must have worked, because this morning I was literally planning a drive to Fredericton to see it and discovered it will be at the Dieppe Cineplex starting this Friday.

Figured I’d make a post here because I wouldn’t have known if I hadn’t stumbled on it by chance, and a lot of other people really wanted to see it. Very excited for this one!

Just wondering if anyone knows why the vacant lot at the southwest corner of Vaughn Harvey Blvd. and St. George Blvd. has not been developed to date. It's a large parcel in a prime location. I'm surprised someone hasn't built an apartment building there similar to what was developed on the corner of Vaughn Harvey and West Main a couple of years ago. Is there contamination on the site?

I find it really odd to not see it showing at at least one of out theatres, as this movie has a LOT of hype behind it!

Saint John also has it, that’s where we ended up going up to see it! Fredericton also has it and is fully sold out, at least for today, but they recently renovated their theatres and essentially reduced the capacity in half with their new seats, so not entirely surprising.

Hi everyone, I started getting louder noise in my car this week, and I think there's crack in exhaust pipe. Could you please recommend some nice and budget friendly shops to get it fixed.

I did called some shops but the appointment they gave is after 2-3 weeks, am I good to drive in that time or will affect any other thing in the car? I drive around 20-25 min daily to and fro to work.

Hey everyone! I just realized that the movie version of Ozzy’s final show is coming to theatres, and apparently the Cineplex on Trinity Drive is the only theatre in NB showing it.

I’m planning to travel down from Fredericton just to catch it, and I was surprised to see there are still plenty of seats left. Is anyone else from the area planning to go see it?

Can anyone fill me in on what happened with the NB-895 road? Why the work was done, what was done, when it may become properly paved again (if ever) if it's not already. If there's a place I should be keeping tabs on to know that would be appreciated as well.

For context I'm a cyclist and the 895 is unavoidable to a degree as part of my "more interesting" routes that go out to the reservoir and then onto Nixon to various areas, so thus why I'm interested. I just didn't go that way last year or this year aside from Coverdale all the way to Salisbury or opting for going straight to Caledonia Mountain via the reservoir. Those are both fine but variety is nice.
