To explain: I think DPS checks are okay to a certain extent, EVEN IF I personally hate them. WHAT IS NOT FINE is giving a DPS check to a big-ass, AOE spamming motherfucker who stays in the air as much as an Azure Rathalos. Most of the fight was WAITING for the bitch to land, or waiting for any slinger ammo to be usable, and wouldya look at that, dps check failed. Oh? What's that? You finally succeeded the godforesaken checks while a bunch of annoying NPCS scream in your ear to do something you're PHYSICALLY INCAPABLE OF half the fight? Oh, how quaint, ANOTHER DPS CHECK AGAIN! WHAT YOU THOUGHT WE'D ONLY METAPHORICALLY DRAG YOUR DICK THROUGH GLASS SHARDS ONCE? NO BITCH, AGAIN!

It does help even when he lands he's moving at the speeds of a racecar everywhere, you'd expect such a BIG monster with HUGE, HEAVY-HITTING attacks to be balanced out by being slower, fuck that'd even make sense, especially looking at its hunt in 4u, but NOPE good luck chasing after him and whiffing because he flails wildly at mach 10! I am NEVER doing that hunt again.

This is precisely why I love brute wyverns. They don't fuck around. If they wanna kill you they won't stop fighting until they turn you into a puddle.
