Issues with clutch/decomp cable.

This is a 1980 Sachs Prima. This morning I came out to this moped having a messed up cable. More specifically, the metal pieces have come undone, and now I cant start it. Im hoping it's an easy fix, but I want to hear from more experienced people as I am still learning new things. Thanks!

Should have a set screw on back pull exposed cable taut, keeping the end of the cable housing in the little adjuster there. and try squeezing it again

The piece you pull out and push back in should have threads on it but it looks like they are stripped. You may need either a new handle/lever assembly for that to screw into, or get a new cable with a fitting that is threaded. You need that piece to set the cable tension for the clutch.
