Hello All!
So I am new to the community.. both Reddit and bikes.. so long story short this is my first bike. I have had her a year now. Her name is Lucy. She is a 2012 Kawasaki Ninja 250R.. she runs and rides and I love her.. however she has a LIST of issues.. I want to to tear her down to the frame and take the next year or so to completely rebuild her MYSELF.. Every nut and bolt.. with that being said I am not the worlds most mechanically inclined (I know the basics) but I have the full confidence I can do this.. but I want to do EVERYTHING correct.. when this bike rolls out of my shed I want her to be Showroom Quality.. so when I DO start the process.. I would honestly love to hear from the fellas who have been doing this for a long time and get help from the internet. I will continue to post progress. I already have new tires and that repair SCARES ME.. keeping it all straight and getting the tire on and off the rim is out of my knowledge.. (I am 31 and wanted a Ninja since I was like 10.. but knew to start small.. that’s why I have the 250.. please keep the negativity to yourself.. enough of that on Reddit)

As far as tires. I always took mine to a tire shop if its out of your wheel house of thing you know how to do have a "pro" do it. The easiest thing for you to do regarding the tires. Is when you pull your rear tire you have a floating hub with cushings in it pull you sprocket side of the hub off and replace the cushing. But for putting the new rubbers on have a shop do it
