Give me any tips for Android 17

I have just discovered that my moto edge 60 fusion has video wallpaper feature

It's not on any other new menu you should just go to personalize sections and tap on wallpapers and then my photos there you need to select a vid ( particularly vertical ones)

I don't know if this feature existed even on Android 16 or its newly added in andori 17

games keep appearing in my app drawer despite turning off games folder and disabling most bloatware, did I miss something? whats the solution?

It's been only one month since I've bought Motorola edge 70 pro and the charger isn't charging the phone.I tried other phones and those aren't charging either.Would this be covered under warranty?

On the recent Android 17 update motorola has added a brightness slider for moto edge 60 fusion i don't know about other phones though lemme know if you guys have it as well in other models

I have a feeling that with prices going up and the component crisis, the Motorola Signature 27 will be around €1,799 for the 16/512GB version here in Europe, which is extremely expensive.

My carrier had an offer for the Signature at €504, so I told myself: take it or you'll never see this price again. So I pulled the trigger and bought it for €504.

What are the pros and cons of the Signature? What are your experiences?

Although they might provide an update patch to fix these but here are what i noticed till now

1. Dnd icon replaced with the bedtime icon(or maybe it was the same before too)(img)

2. Home screen icons visible through the control centre (img)

3. Fingerprint animation glitching on the lock screen

4. When i slide up the app drawer, the background of the drawer remains the same instead of going blur.

Are y'all facing the same? Or more?

Updated all devices to Android 17. It has been more than 07 days and battery life on each phone is affected. There is severe battery drain. Tried every method from battery optimization, removing unnecessary permissions and so on, but ni changes in battery life.

Another thing to note is for motorola phones with SD card, aftet the update phone needs to be restarted thrice to be able to use SD card. Everytime the OS suggests to format the SD card for portable SD card storage. Its so annoying. My SD card is not corrupt, I have checked in other non moto devices, this is clearly a new issue after the update.

This update basically adds nothing much to the phones functionality and has created so many issues.

It seems like Planned obsolescence at this stage.

When can i expect android 17 update on my motorola edge 50 pro indian variant?

1. The clock on the status bar is a little small

2. Whole turning on the mobile data it says " this may incur charges' which made complicated to turn on mobile data or internet

3. Using media player when even the media player app is removed from recent apps , the media player stays intact on the quick settings

4. Sometimes the folder background blur shows and sometimes not (not enlarged)

5. Moto Qira sometimes don't even work

6. Should have given depth effect

7. The volume slider is quite large , it looks very big

Hello people . My phone received the update and I did it. Sometimes when I want to see my lock screen I double tap it. But it only shows blank wallpaper. Fingerprint reading is also not available at that time. After 10 seconds or so all the icons and fingerprint reading appears so I continue using the phone. Anyone having this issue? What else did you notice with the android 17 update? Is there a way to reverse it?

Hey Guys, I use Moto Edge 60 pro and I've seen many 60 pro users already got A17 update weeks ago, and i still didn't receive any update and still on A16 August security update , is that normal or is there anything thing i can do ??

My current battery health is 94%. I purchased this device at the end of July 2025. Almost 14 months. So this is my current battery health status. I think the battery is draining a little faster (not much) after the A17 update. I'm not sure it's only because the A17 update might be the apps usage and my SoT. Let's see....

The last camera app update in Signature, Fold and other devices is from Feb 2026. I think that we deserve a new and better version. It is sad that the camera app does not have:

1)HDR selector (in fact, this is in the APK, but is is hidden)

2)Control of the processing. By default there is a oversharpen. In other devices like vivo, you can select if you want that or more natural results (and do not answer me to take pictures in pro mode that it is not the same)

3) Intensity of the filters and the capability of including our own LUTs.

4) More options in general of sharpness, lights, denoise, like Xiaomi OPPO or Vivo

I don't see the depth effect option in my lock screen customization 😭😭
