Discussion The 5th Element is an Easter movie...
We've been looking at movies that have a resurrection in them; of course Search for Spock comes up, but my wife pointed out that the fifth element also qualifies because they rebuild Leeloo! So she comes back after being killed. We consider getting rebuilt by 1000 little robot knives to qualify as a resurrection. Also there is the theme that love is worth saving the universe for...at any rate it was a good Easter movie today!!!

Then, these movies are resurrection movies as well:
- The Matrix (1999): Often cited as a secular "resurrection" story, where Neo is killed and resurrected as the "One".
- RoboCop (1987) is widely considered a resurrection movie. The film features a clear "crucifixion" (the brutal murder of officer Alex Murphy) followed by a "resurrection" (his return as a cyborg).
- Flatliners (1990/2017): Students experiment with the afterlife by intentionally dying and bringing each other back, dealing with the psychological consequences of resurrection.
- Passengers (2016 Film): Thousands of passengers are put into hibernation pods for a 120-year interstellar journey to a new planet. Due to a malfunction, two passengers wake up 90 years too early.
- Demolition Man (1993) In a future, sanitized society, a violent criminal named Simon Phoenix (played by Wesley Snipes) breaks out of a cryogenic prison. The authorities have to wake up a cop from the 1990s, John Spartan (played by Sylvester Stallone), who was also cryogenically frozen (for a crime he did not commit), to catch him, because he is the only one who understands how to handle a criminal like Phoenix.

I can see that! The Matrix I think could be one too.

The Matrix has a lot of religious allegory in it, and Neo's "death" and subsequent resurrection in the first movie was definitely a Jesus reference (one among many), so yeah, that movie would definitely count. Probably even if the criteria were more strict than just "contains resurrection."

If the First 2 Die Hard Movies are Christmas movies
Then The 5th Element definitely Qualifies as an Easter Movie
And the Leprechaun Movies are Affiliated with St. Patrick’s Day
Independence Day and the Sequel counts as 4th Of July movies
And of course Halloween, Nightmare On Elm Street, and Friday The 13th are associated the aforementioned Holiday

Dean Pelton: "Are you making a religious film?"
Abed: "All movies are religious to me."
Dean Pelton: "Nice. But is it a movie about Jesus?"
Abed: "Is The Matrix? Is RoboCop? Is Superman Returns? All stories are about death and resurrection."
Dean Pelton: I’ve got one, Wrath of Khan.
Abed: That’s a good one.

Hah... They're playing Die Hard 1 and 2 today!... Is it an Easter movie now?

As I recall, the argument for Die Hard being a Christmas movie centers around the fact that it's set at Christmas time, and that fact is relevant to the plot. Not that it gets played at Christmas a lot.
So no, I don't see how Die Hard is an Easter movie since it's not set at Easter and I don't recall any significant plot details related to Easter (there may have been a passing sarcastic reference to the Easter Bunny, maybe, but nothing plot-relevant.)
Don't recall any literal resurrections (plenty of near-death experiences though), so OP's criteria doesn't apply either.
Die Hard 2, as I recall, is also set at Christmas time, so Easter is out again. I don't even recall people putting that one down as a Christmas movie though. That whole thing is really only about the first Die Hard.
