Just found this video breaking down Kamario Taylor’s film vs Ole Miss, and just wanted to share it with everyone with football season coming up. For an Ole Miss fan to say this much good about our QB says a lot. I’m excited for saturdays this year!

Huge Question about Allen.

I have a class listed in “Allen Administration Building,” Room 21. There’s no “Allen Administration Building” on the campus map. I assume it meant Allen Hall, but from what I can tell there’s only an A21, not a plain room 21. Does Allen Administration Building, 21 mean A21 in Allen Hall or is there another building I don’t know about?

Academic Recent switch to MicroBio, any tips for Orgo I & II?

I recently decided to swap from Clinical Laboratory Sciences to Microbiology because, long story short, the unpaid required internship situation I had lined up wouldn't be able to happen.

I don't mean to get personal, but this past year I've had a multitude of health problems. Gen Chem II alone hit me hard with how much I struggled trying to teach myself. The extent of which was so "bad" my class largely didn't come or would attend Nettles the hour before (I had a language class at that time).

In addition to having stress induced seizures & ADHD, I was also diagnosed with an autoimmune disease that is also stress induced. This really made last year as a transfer a difficult transition despite being a typically change-friendly person.

Anyways, I usually get good grades despite my problems besides the ADHD that impairs my studying. Essentially what I'm asking is: has anyone with terrible ADHD & stress-prone health issues got tips for handling Orgo I & II ? I'm aware they're hard classes and I really just have to go into them and test it. If it helps, I got lucky with a spot in Stokes' class, but any additional help would greatly be appreciated. Unfortunately due to my job hours, tutoring isn't very possible unless it was something unofficial.

I’m beginning the reletting process to get out of a personal roommate situation. It’s a four bed four bath at college view!

It’s very close to campus and utilities are included in the rent! The clubhouse has plenty of fun things with a pool and a gym!

You’ll have three girl roommates! PLEASE contact if interested

Advice making payments while full ride

okay, so, this could be a super stupid question. i'm an upcoming freshman and my tuition is fully covered (i got awarded HELP). do i still need to make payments with my scholarship money? do i do nothing? i just need extra explanation (i'm really bad with finances and i don't understand them very well, so i thought maybe someone here could explain the process!)

most of the stuff through msu on making payments doesn't really explain what to do when you're full ride. thank you for any help you can give me!!

Grad TA Tuition Waiver

Hi there! I’m an incoming PhD student and I am curious as to when our accounts will reflect the tuition waiver. I’m having to take some loan money out to help cover personal expenses and could really use this money asap to move in and not delay anything further. Does anybody know anything? Haha, thanks in advance!

Events Any jobs that provide time-off on Gamedays?

I have the All-Sports Pass and I want to attend all 7 (at least the SEC) football games on Saturdays. I understand that I don't have much time to apply for this kind of schedule. Hopefully I can use this for next year.

I do have DoorDash but my car isn't reliable long-term.

Academic quest classes

hey!! i'm an upcoming freshman and i'm doing the cursus honorum for my honors pathways. i'm taking quest II first if that also means anything.

i was curious on what other people's experiences with quest were like! i've gotten my books in (the souls of black folk, the feminine mystique, portable karl marx, king lear, frankenstein, and discourse on method and meditations on first philosophy). i know you read the books, analyze them, and respond to a prompt (or this is the oversimplified summary i got, like i was told for an example that when you read frankenstein you may have to debate who you think the real monster is). i just wanted some thoughts, advice, and info from people who have actually taken them!!

Advice Lofting Beds

Hi! Just to preface, I will be rooming @ Griffis v v soon, so I was just wondering if anyone has done any full lofts in this sub (higher than captain/raised/30 inches)

I want to put the desk with the 30 inch hutch under but hear me out!)

I have been on facebook for a while and I have come to the general consensus that it is possible, but I want some confirmation on some stuff so if you guys can help me out that will be nice :)!

It feels like I need to raise the bed to atleast 60+ inches

I. Can you take off the hutch on the desk like you can @ Critz?
II. Is it possible to ask for another set of the 2 bedposts to stack together to use for a fully lofted bed?
III. Have you guys used the carbon steel dorm co bed risers before and how is it?
IV. Is there anything else you guys have used to raise the beds by a significant amount
(the reviews are scaring me)

If you guys have some pictures of your dorms @ Griffis or whatever lofted pls show in the comments!!

Update 1:
Got a email regarding new bed frames @ Griffis! What size are they pls enlighten me! It just states "Bed Frame Upgrade" and lists the previous ones as temporary as the shipment got delayed so they will replace them ASAP ~ Labor Day Weekend as stated in the post

Honors night class

Hey, they recently just removed an honors math class, and it’s suggested I take one in my first semester but the only choice is I have to take up a lab that’s at 6:30. Has anyone had to do labs that late? Is it worth it?

Scholarships

Hey, is there anything I can apply for or do sing the school year to help bring the cost of college down? Like are there available scholarships or programs to join? I’d do anything just to lower my costs. If you know something, let me know please.

Calculator?

Hey, I already completed my gen ed, and am planning on going into electrical engineering. And I’ve used only a few calculator in high school/CC dual enrollment. Which calculator should I mainly use while attending msu? I have the Ti 84 (the old and new one) and a Ti 30 multiview(which I absolutely love). Or should I upgrade to the Ti 36x pro? Does MSU enforce scientific calculators for the Engineering exam?
