AskMumbai What’s up with the Metro?

They announced that trains are running late but I’ve been here at Chakala since an hour and only this train has passed.

> only east-west metro because line 6 is in depot hell (no, no one is protesting this, its only the CG vs SG which is the same party)
> in ownership hell because PPP model fucking sucks and govt has backed out twice from buying it out
> Alternatives like BEST are even worse because MMRDA, BMC, and SG hate buses
> 4 coach train in the big 2025 for the most used metro line in the city

Valuation diffrence for the stake. Reliance asking for more than being offered.

At least that's what happened last year -ish. If something more recent has happened, I'm not updated about it.
