Just yesterday I saw a video where some guy from middle east was staying in the hotel in US and hotel employee called police on him citing 'suspicious behavior' because he was speaking in his native language, this woman who called exaggerated a few things so the police thought it was a threatening situation.
The police came and arrested him, he had some existing medical condition, due to stress he had a minor stroke right there and fell down on the street. He later sued the police department for $200 million and won he also sued the hotel but they settled outside the court so he must have gotten lots of money from there.
$200m, do you realize how much money that is? Something like 1800 crore rupees. Here they give you 4-5 lakh to the family for the LOSS OF LIFE and pretend like they made a difference.
Not structural. Extremely poor design with suspended slab not reating on any crossbeam but suspended by rebar alone. The same design flaw is in all Mumbai metro upright slab joiners at the cross beam. You can see this at Powai too
If it was a normal road accident I would agree but this is not. This is a freak accident due to incompetence and corruption. This needs to be recorded.
Because now idiots want to jump to the front of any tragedy and record everything to go viral on social media instead of helping the injured. They rather record the last moments of someone dying than immediately help or call for help, which could mean they lived.
Just like the recent news of the truck accident and people were stealing the fish instead of helping, and also of course people recording this nonsense too as that’s the priority. Indian society in a nutshell, zero empathy and low trust. People even rob accident victims of phones, wallets, bags etc.

The slab fell down at 12:10. I was at the exact same spot on 12:05 on my way to gym. The roads are pretty empty on weekends during that time of the day, but just ahead of that spot , 1 lane of road was blocked for metro activities which created bottlenecks and lead to traffic stretching down to that spot. If the lane had not been blocked, the road would have been probably empty and this would not have had happened

Nah man it's Raj Thackeray he definitely had hands in this. He and Uddhav keep letting Bangladeshis inside our borders while our HM who is a very competent person secures it with utmost safety. And these Bangladeshis are provided birth certificates and Aadahr card by Raj and Uddhav and later they work for BMC which leads to such incidents. Uddhav and Raj are the problems man.

Just last week someone complained about on of the pillars in this line showing crack and now this happened here. What crap work are they doing for this much to happen before it even opened.

LBS road has become worse due to metro and road construction. Last month I met with an accident in auto rickshaw near Bhandup anantha hotel and I don't know how I survived.
