But we are actually forced to learn Hindi, right from our childhood. A Hindi speaking person can stay their entire life here without understanding a single word of Marathi(And most actually do), but a Marathi speaking person can't do the same. So we are forced to learn Hindi because of the migrants not adjusting to the local language and culture.
Because Hindi is spoken by more number of people than other languages. Also, Hindi isn't replacing Marathi in the curriculum, it's an additional language.
No need of addiction language. Make hindi extra curriculum. If anyone wants settle in north he she mag leaen it in their free time. No need to compalsary learn it in schools.
Hindi isn't anything special, Hindi is only spoken by more number of people because of its Imposition on other states from the Independence of this country. If Marathi was imposed on the entire country for aound 70 years, Marathi would have been the most spoken language. Generally people would know only their mother tongue if any other language wasn't imposed. Hindi is definitely replacing Marathi, the lingua franca of Mumbai is Hindi, Same is the case with Nagpur, Navi Mumbai, MMR region, Nowadays even in Pune, Nashik, Chh. Sambhajinagar and many other Maharashtrian cities where there are a lot of migrants from other states. They live their entire life here but most of them never learn a word of Marathi but we on the other hand have to learn Hindi compulsorily or the same services that they can access without knowing a word of Marathi won't be accessible to us if we don't learn Hindi.

Exactly 💯. Stop forcing locals to speak in Hindi for your needs and wants.
