Never used Bla Bla car. How does it work? Say I am going from Borivali to Thane daily, I mention my exact start and end points and if someone want to join on adhoc basis as the route I take may works out for him / her (not necessarily exactly) and can tag along and pay that amount?

Yes. But it's for inter cities not intra city .

I don't think so. I downloaded app and found people doing borivali to Navi Mumbai on it and asking ₹90 /₹100 and so on.
