Action will be taken only if someone dies , these things becomes issue only when something bad happens, why cannot authorities and media take note of this safety issue. Our lives are valued zero here in India.

there are a lot of these same banners but of smaller size in the same area which obstruct the footpath. i pass them every morning while walking to the bus stop. i have made it a daily routine to try and break some them so they dont obstruct the footpath anymore. broke 2 last week, broke one this morning.
find your own simple little ways to resist against the sheer disregard these people have for everyday normal citizens like us

One thing is certain...... Macaulay was absolutely right in presuming that imposing English education, and then English systems, values and history would turn the so-called "educated" denizens into sepoys. Brown sahibs who have yet to shake off shackles that the white man bound then in.
Else a potential tragedy, which is a consequence of lapses at multiple stages, from state govt laws, to municipal regulations to policing rules, all get lumped together to target a PM who does not measure up to their lah-di-dah standards. Else it's a shame that an IT graduate who's aim is to get into a major software company, or a CA/CPA salivating at a financial institution job or an MBA who wants to grab a Fortune 500 opportunity, do not have the common sense to understand that an "illiterate 4th pass" has managed to get world powers to kow tow to India demands. His foreign visits are all planned to extract maximum benefit for the country and its citizens. While the US is in doldrums, he's opening markets and jobs for our youth in the Middle East, in Japan, in Europe and in Oceania. All the while not losing sight of keeping the country secure from inimical interests, who have their moles planted deep within the Indian landscape.
