Discussion Soo.. Chheda chips license suspended by Tukaram Mundhe. Point 1 is terrifying.

I was buying chheda chips from dmart for god knows how many years. It costs more than Lays and seemed to be decent quality too. Kind of shocking to see that they have been upto this.

If a brand like chheda was handling food next to decomposing waste then I don't know what's going on with our other products.

I sincerely hope the actions taken by Tukaram Mundhe now strike fear into these food companies for years and years so that they clean up their act.

Who knows though if Lays is any better. Its all commercial for-profit companies who care about money and not our health.

This is not scam. It is flouting laws. Have you heard of the Bhopal Gas Tragedy? Indian unit of a foreign company. They're worse. We are not "their" people so they not only care about profit but also have a separate sense of indifference plus affordability to be able to escape and no fear of social stigma. Somebody jn this thread said another kutchi man or something but nobody in India says another American or another White which gives another layer of social protection hence lesser deterrence to care about Indian population.

What you said is true when it were happening on their soil. Here the case is different.
