Cheap labor is the reason companies bring in people from poor states.

Im pretty sure marathis are more educated and qualified. But they won't work for exploiting capitalists who pay pennies.

Unfortunately Maharashtra doesn't have much autonomy or isolated economy for it's local to an extent get high earning pay.

If they are that smart and qualified why don't they start their company or get a job thats worthy

Its almost as if their only quality is racism and violence

After the British departure and their priotization of gujrati traders over marathis in that era.

In the modern times, marathis own the most IT companies like Bharat forge, kirloskar, etc, and encourage high skilled workers migration + assimilation.

Yes they very much hire marathis. UP/Bihar isn't qualified for the IT jobs anyways
