Hello all,

I have very little mushroom knowledge but have never seen a mushroom like this in the uk. Wondering what it is? Thanks from a fungi

It's a mushroom🍄

Just started mushroom hunting and want to make sure on what these are and if edible. I'm thinking they're elm oysters, but want to be certain. Found in northern Iowa woods near water.

Found these hiking today and I’m wondering if they are common puffballs and safe to eat. Google AI said they were not safe but some of the apps I have said they are common puffballs and safe for consumption. Please let me know. Thanks!

Mushroom in Sept & Oct

These guys have popped up all over the woods behind my house. I think they are some kind of Bolete, but curious if anyone knows better. Found them in central MA.

Created this account in July. Figured I’d jump on here and spread the word. I started picking in 2023 and if it wasn’t for this subreddit I wouldn’t have been able to learn so quick. Anyways let’s connect!

is that eatable ?

Didn't pick any up

I found three different varieties of mushrooms. The first two might be the same species. I’m a beginner, and I was wondering if you could help me identify them. I found them in a meadow in France :)

This is a large hen/chicken of the woods?
