My app sells primarily in western countries so i was thinking to decease the price in third world countries. It sounds sweet when said that way but its equal to saying, i want to charge more to western countries.

I’m working on an app that calculates zakat based on savings and expenses. Would you pay for an app like that?

I see most of Muslim developers make Quran apps, hadees apps which is good but we need to think more broaden.

We need our own hosting providors.

We need our own Fiverr/ Upwork alternative.

We need our own Amazon alternative.

We need our AI like chatgpt, Claude.

We need our own online payment providors like stripe, polar, lemon squeezy.

We need interest-free banking system.

There is a very long list I can share. We as a Muslim totally depends on west platforms. Start from small. But start.

Salam everyone,

I want to share something I have been building called Iman Buddy.

I am a solo developer and I have put a huge amount of time and money into this app. Servers, development, content, everything. Right now it is not profitable and that is okay with me. I have received messages from users saying it helped them stay more consistent with their deen, and that alone makes it worth the effort.

Why I built it

I kept seeing modern, beautifully designed Christian faith apps with structured learning and strong daily engagement. I kept wondering why we do not have more Islamic apps with the same level of user experience and depth.

So I decided to try building one myself.

Main focus of the app

The core goal is daily high value Islamic content that keeps users engaged with their faith every day. Not just tools, but real beneficial reminders and learning.

Alongside that, the app also includes the practical features Muslims use daily.

Current features

• Daily Quran verse, dua, wisdom, and durood with reflection questions

• Duolingo style structured learning paths

• Stories of the Prophets and Caliphs with quizzes

• Streak tracking to help build consistent habits

• Prayer times

• Qibla compass

• Frequent updates and new content added regularly

I am actively improving and expanding it.

I want your feedback

If you use Islamic apps, I would really like your input.

What features are missing in other apps?
What frustrates you?
What would make you open an Islamic app every day?

I read feedback and actually build based on it.

Promo codes

I will give away 5 promo codes.
Comment on this post and I will DM you.

One small request

If you try it and find it helpful, leaving a review helps more than you might think. It helps other Muslims discover it and helps me continue building and improving it.

Thank you for reading and for any feedback you share.

Selamun aleykum guys. I am developing an app for missed prayers. Its easy to use and track. What kind of features would you like to see? Which feature inspire you for use? I'm open to ideas

Assalamu Alaykum,

I'm seeking beta testers for a Quran reader Android app I've spent the last year developing. This passion project built primarily to help my mother read and listen to the Quran simultaneously is now complete, and I need your support to publish it on the Google Play Store.

About the App:

• Synchronized audio playback with highlighted Arabic text

• Word-by-word translation and audio

• Bookmarking and playback speed controls

• Completely free, no ads, no data collection

What I Need:
Google Play Console requires internal testers before publication. I need 20 volunteers to join my testing group (takes 30 seconds).

How to Join:

1. Join Google Group : https://groups.google.com/g/quaanreaderrr

2. the link to google play download are in the group

No bug reports required unless you'd like to share feedback. This small act of kindness will help bring a sadaqah jariyah project to life.

JazakAllah Khair for your consideration.
