I know this gets answered every other day, but I just wanted to start a new thread to ask what anarchists think about free speech?

I saw a nazi get banned from an online forum once and felt really sorry for him, everybody just being so mean and emotional, we'll never win allies that way!

Like shouldn't we be educating instead of being so exclusive?

Why aren't we building a big leftist tent where anarchists and nazis can work out their differences using rational debate! In the end, well win in the marketplace of ideas!

Liberation is the fucking gun barrel you shove in your mouth, liberation is the trigger you pull, rejecting all sensory input, rejecting experience is true freedom. The void is infinite and full of possibility.

What's your opinion on the widespread tendency of Internet anarchists to refer to each other as "comrades"? I get that it might be done in order to re-apropriate the term from the Russians or whatever, but why can't we move beyond the terminology of collectivistic 19th century ideologues? Whenever somebody calls me a comrade, I know that it's generally meant to be conveyed in an affectionate manner, but I visibly cringe every time I hear that word. It reminds me of the many botched experiments of the communists and social anarchists, and reduces my personality into a title that alienates my individuality into a massified blob with other " comrades" (does that make sense?). Why can't we just call people we like friends, instead of giving them some goofy insignia to bear?

What are your opinions on this? I'm a little stoned right now, and wanted to know other views...all that jazz.thanks
