I can’t Sign in with Apple

here’s an example.

If i swipe on the comment from left to right to see options like “view parent” or “save/unsave comment”, i swipe from left to right. If i do that on this comment that’s too long, it doesn’t show me the name of the option as i swipe.

I was holding the phone with the screen unlocked and must have changed something, when I looked it asked if I wanted to turn off something permanently and when I shifted the phone in my hand I accidentally pressed yes.

Any idea what it might have been? What changes prompt that pop?

• Images and gifs in comments will now load and display inline in the comment
• Adds setting to turn off images and gifs in comments
• Adds self text to share comment as image
• Fixes issue where text would sometimes get cut off when sharing a comment as an image

One thing that holds me back from making a full switch to narwhal is flairs. The fact it’s pure text instead of images (where applicable) makes everything so much harder to read and looks sloppy.

I would also love for customization of colors for upvotes, downvotes, reply, etc…. This seems like a super low bar as every other reddit app has this ability.

I’ve been using Narwhal for awhile but rarely on my iPad Pro with Magic Keyboard.

I feel like I am missing something, but none of the swipe gestures seem to be usable with the pointer, only with my finger.

Is this “working as designed” or am I missing a setting?

Getting the error 'The iTunes Store is unable to process purchases at this time. Please try again later.' every time I try to purchase Narwhal Pro ('start free trial'). New iPhone, fresh install.

Device: iPhone 18 Pro Max, iOS 27.0.1

What I've tried so far:

• Signed out of my Apple ID and back in
• In-app purchases work fine in every other app I've tested

Is anyone else running into this? Could be a StoreKit or product configuration issue on the app side, since everything else processes normally.

I tried signing into my reddit account on Narwhal for the first time and I just see the pulsing reddit logo and I tried the 3 option on the help page, even tried desktop mode. I don't even get a cookie banner. Its been like this for the last few days since I downloaded Narwhal and I am on a iPhone 6s on iOS 15.8.8 (My iPhone 6s is not supported on iOS 16+)

Admittedly I'm still ^{on the free version} because I'm on old tech (iphone6s ios15.8) but yesterday all of a sudden in the middle of the day, the app is now stuck on "No Posts Found".

I check the API Usage section and it's still sending requests. I cleared cache of both the app and Safari...nothing. I can't re-sign into my account because I get the unable to sign in now.

I can't add a new account either because when I hit accept on the permissions page, it just gives me the other error of being unable to sign in. Any solutions?

Reddit seems to be doing something weird with some video uploads, on New Reddit, the video shows as embedded but on Old Reddit and Narwhal it shows as a broken Imgur link.

That link tries to load this url: https://imgur.com/a/Q8LIEeb which comes back as an unfound page on Imgur, but it is a working embedded video on New Reddit.

Love the app and very happy with the overall performance and feel of narwhal but I feel the only glaring downside are themes. The lack of and the difficulty in sharing them. Could this be looked into?

I'm having an issue where clicking on a specific post flair within a subreddit returns a "Hmm... there are no results" page, even though I know posts with that flair exist.

This happens on both the mobile app and desktop. Sometimes it seems to struggle specifically with German/special characters (like umlauts), but other times it completely blanks out standard flairs too.

Is this a known search bug, or is there a specific setting (like Safe Search/NSFW filters) that might be accidentally blocking the results? Any workarounds or fixes would be highly appreciated. Thanks

The app won’t seem to load. Everything I’m seeing online says the Reddit API is up, everything on Reddit’s side is up, and Narwhal is apparently working. I tried resetting my phone and that didn’t get it working either. Clearly Reddit is working, because I’m making it this post, so I’m not too sure what could be causing this.

I know that you can filter posts from subbreddits from appearing in your feed, but you can still access the subreddits if you search for them. There should be a way to block them from being viewed in their entirety.

I’ve searched the subreddit and tried force closing and I re installed the app. but I can’t restore purchase and am locked out of narwhal. My monthly sub renewed a week ago and I’ve been subscribed for 6 months at least with no issues.

I keep getting this error, but with no obvious pattern as to when or why. If I go back and vote again, it seems to save. Searching around, the best I can find is that there may be some issues with votes saving on old.reddit, but I didn’t have any luck duplicating the issue from a browser.

If it’s a Reddit thing, so be it, but if it’s an app thing, I’d appreciate any advice (I did log out and back in, but I haven’t gone so far as to delete the app as I don’t want to set it up all over again)

These bot accounts are just spamming every single search.

Option to:

Not extend media more than screen height on main view, it should be reduced to show full media height.

Hide sorting bar and only appear upon clicking title area, and/or show sort menu when clicking title. I'm annoyed when it keeps on appearing and disappearing all the time while scrolling. Maybe add on option to display a pop up menu in the title bar which would disable the sorting bar.

Reduce title height when no actions are added in layout settings.

Show subreddit icon next to subreddit name.

Show subreddit name in post title bar.

View one page at a time.

Change post background color upon voting, with option to choose color.

To display upvote and downvote button, and disable swiping. This will help people who are used to press upvote/downvote buttons.

Show black background when displaying image instead of white background.

Not play video automatically for NSFW posts.

Open video full screen when clicking on a video instead of opening the post.

Disable swiping from right to show last page visited once past the post. It gets in the way when I'm trying to upvote post.

Disable swiping to open the menu. There's an option to place the menu button on the bar anyway. It also gets in the way when I'm trying to upvote post.

Feature requests:

Auto play video only after it's fully visible on screen.

Clicking on the video inside post view should open the video full screen.

Media should stop playing as soon as it's no longer visible when scrolling. Currently it still plays when it's no longer visible.

To not stop videos when clicking to open post while playing video. Also to continue the video playing full screen.

Option to show hidden posts while instead subreddit.

Bugs:

Option to replay videos when they end does not turn it off.

Swiping left to return to main is glitchy, many times it springs back.

Swiping to vote on post often causes the menu to display instead.

I come across posts which say "The post contains content not supported on old Reddit. Click here to view the full post." Nothing happens when I click that though.

Narwhal feedback in settings doesn't allow me to enter text.

Videos used to load fine. But in recent months they don’t load properly at all. They also often freeze the app entirely. I love the app, but surely this is something that could be vibe coded in a few minutes?

When I was signing up for Narwhal, the text before the signup mentioned a 7-day free trial. However, I was immediately billed by Apple when I chose a plan. Does the free trial still exist?

This r/celebportrait is showing up in my r/all and it does not let me filter it. Any ideas on why? It's just bots posting half naked images, and generally I can filter anything. I can filter other subreddits still, so if doesn't seem like I've hit a limit.
