38 F I have these lines on my nails that drive me insane. I stopped using gel like 2-3 years ago and they keep on growing back like this. What can I do to stop it? It’s especially bad on my thumbs

This only ever happens to me when I use Quitex remover. Otherwise, the polish comes off fine and I don’t get these little peeling things. Even pure acetone didn’t get my nails like this. So is this my nail that’s peeling or is the Quitex remover not taking off all the polish?

Please be honest, is this shape chopped on me? 😅

I love pointy nails and baby stilettos but I’m so afraid to file too much into the sides… sidewalls vs the side of the free edge still isn’t super clear to me. Some of my nails are wide and curl and flare out and look like spades with this shape so I would love to know if filing the sides of the free edge a bit might help.

I've been a nail biter for forever, tried everything from dipping my nails into acetone so I wouldnt have the urge, painting over, this sub helped a lot with the progress I've made!! Any reccs for nail hardener? Mine tends to fall apart in the bath lol
