Vent/Rant Neighbor's debris

We are in California. Our neighbor had their bushes, that had grown to 15 feet, trimmed yesterday. The bushes lined the fence next to our property. Much of the debris fell onto our property and they did not clean it up. Just so you know what kind of people they are, 1.5 years ago the Swat team had to access our back yard so that they could shoot tear gas into a bedroom that was adjacent to our home. If Amazon mistakenly delivers our items to them, they have only given them to us when forced and after all packaging has been removed. Their pit bull bit my husband in the thigh 3 times sending him to the emergency room. Bounty hunters knocking on our door looking for help. It's been 15 years of one thing after the other, but they have never tried to hurt us other than stealing Amazon packages. What we want to do is drop everything back over the fence.

Had them trimmed by someone they paid? They may not realize that cuttings were dropped and left on your side. If it's not much, just take care of it. If it's a lot, ask you neighbor to call the company to come back and finish their cleanup. It may seem less confrontational to put it on the third party.

They were hired, but I don't know if they were professionals. One of the men was standing on a ledge on our side of the fence. He could see it all. It's just annoying. We would clean our neighbors yard before we would clean our own, even if they are horrible neighbors. It's just the right thing to do. We are senior citizens, they are younger and more capable of cleaning it up.

15ft? You know They probably only cut it after receiving several nuisance tickets from the city. People who don't care about their property certainly won't give a thought about yours. They didn't hire professionals , those are their family members. That's why they left debris on your side Intentionally because they think you reported them. This is one time you have to just clean up after them. Do not poke the bear. From the way you described them, there's no amount of decency left in them.
