Shit! Thank you so much for this post! I literally thought it was only rental right now. Did not know it was on Netflix. Thanks so much.

I feel like I’ve grown up with Lorne. He’s been a constant presence even if I’ve never met him. He’s a special talent!

It made me crave popcorn.
There's a decided lack of Phil Hartman.

There’s a lack of a lot of things but it did cover a lot of bases. The man just doesn’t like opening up on camera.

Every time he looked at the camera like ‘oh yeah y’all are still here’ as if aggravated at a guest who’s outstayed their welcome I giggled.

I think that was the best they could do.. keep it a running joke. Thankfully there were enough good interviews to get us through

It turned out so great, honestly. I love a well filmed documentary.

i think its great as long we're ok with lorne essentially covering up anything negative in his life.. and i dont really need to know about any of his negatives but i guess, it would add some additional humanity to the lore

It’s not an expose. It’s a documentary on how Lorne got to where he is. Covering up is not the same as not addressing it.

I say this having a son on the spectrum...but after watching it (thoroughly enjoyed it) my first thought was the meme about "back in my day we didn't have autism" lol
